Vet Playas Veterinary Clinic Dr. Fimbres Dishonest and Unethical Work Standards San Ysidro Blvd California
Ronald Richards, the owner of Vet Playas, claims he only speaks English, and Dr. Fimbres claims he only speaks Spanish, yet their website shows a photo, where it states English is spoken. Ron works out of his home. Dr. Fimbres does not speak English, and Vet Playas does not have a translator, which makes this statement misleading. You don’t want to be stuck with a language barrier during an emergency with your pet.
Ron Richards brags about his clinic being better than all of the other clinics in Tijuana, Mexico because he’s an American who looks down on Mexicans and tries to sell his clinic as superior, when in my opinion, it’s inferior to the excellent clinics in Tijuana, and when Ron thinks no one can hear him, he calls his staff “a bunch of idiots” behind their backs.
Tijuana has a few excellent competent Mexican Veterinarians with state of the art Vet Clinics, Vet Playas isn’t one of them.
However, Tijuana does NOT HAVE ANY RELIABLE AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY VET CLINICS. And U.S. Customs forbids an animal who is not healthy to enter the U.S. from Mexico, so you will have no options in attempting to save your pets life once in Mexico.
We go to Veterinarians and their Clinics to save our pet’s life, and to get them the best care possible. We love our pets, and we want to protect them from harm. Vet Playas cannot be trusted to care for your pet.
