Veteran Electric - Veteran Electric Electronic Services - Veteran Electronic Small Appliance Vacuum Service Owner sold me defective trimmer on shaver but told me I'm too fussy and kept $10 of mine Edmonton Alberta
Fall, 2008, I went to this business (It has a for sale sign) to get my Braun shaver/trimmer fixed. It was too expensive to fix, so the owner proposed a no name shaver/trimmer for $20 (I gave him $5 extra on top of $15 because I though it was a good deal, stupid me). I was clean shaven, so I couldn't test it in the store.
When I got home and tried to trim off my beard growth 2 weeks later, the trimmer pulled so hard on my beard hairs that it took me 45 minutes to do a bad trim job.
I knew this was not right because my old Braun shaver/trimmer could have done it in 5 minutes no problem. Same with my Phillips Beard trimmer that I once had, and same with the Phillips shaver/trimmer that I now have.
When I went back to tell him the no name shaver/trimmer that he sold me didn't work, we told me I'm so fussy I should use blades. I reminded him that I was satisfied with the Braun shaver/trimmer that I had asked him to fix. He had the nerve to tell me "I don't believe that. You should use a blade". He only gave me back $10 of the $20 I had paid him.
It's not right to act in bad faith like this the way he talked to me, telling me I'm too fussy when the trimmer didn't work worth crap. If I could have paid with PayPal, PayPal would have ruled against him for selling things not as described.
