Vincent Duane Tarter Just a young kid that wanted a nice car. Beverly Hills California
I'm noticing I'm not the only person who was scammed by Vincent Tarter. I met him through an acquaintance while I was in college. Vincent had told me that I could get a great deal on a car that was previously seized by the government. I would need to put down a deposit and the car would be shipped from it's location which was out of state. I was so niave that I gave him $1500.00 and signed what I now know was a bogus contract. After weeks went by and I heard no word, I called him repeatedly trying to get answers. He dodged me as much as possible and eventually changed his phone numbers. Needless to say, I was out the money. If anybody has any info on him, please let me know. I'd love to get my money back or put him in jail.
