On Thursday, October 17, 2013 I purchase 2 baseball tickets from Vivid Seats on their website. The tickets were for game 6 of NCLS playoffs for St. Louis Cardinals vs, Los Angelas Dodgers.

The price was a ridiculous price was $15.00 plus  handling charges. Knowing the price was really cheap. I immeadiately made a purchase two tickets. I got emails stated confirmation by email of my purchase.

I also was charged on my checking account. I had email explaining where I needed to go pickup the tickets before the game. On the email there was emergency contact if I have any problems.

I called the emergeny contact. He confirmed he would honor my purchase even though their was typo on the price. The emergency contact  did not work for Vivid Seats he ran ticket agency that evidently gets a cut. The name is Ticket Guys.

I felt confident I was going to the game October 18, 2013. I was beyond thrilled since I am such huge St. Louis Cardinal fan. I went to work overnight and when I got up early afternoon I checked my phone messages. 

Vivid Seats was trying to contact me. I called and I was informed unfortunately the tickets were a typo the pirce was $144 each. They would let me buy the tickets at face value. I said no way, you have my money, I got confirmation of the purchase.

Then I was offered my money back and $50.00 for my trouble. I turn it down I said I want my tickets, not their money. Then the rep from Vivid Seats told me he would have to talk to his superior. I said fine and he said he would call back.

I get a call from his supervisor he told me my tickets were no longer available. I was livid because I paid for them he should honor my purchase. He offered around $100 maybe it was $110. I said no, that I wasn't done with this matter.

I did get an offer I could buy game 7 tickets, I would have to pay full price. Guess what if the Cardinals win game 6 their would be no game 7. Needless to say Cardinals did win. I was happy they won but there was a pit in my stomach because of what happen .

I did get an email I will be refund my $54. I just don't know how a company can do that take your money for the purchase and send you all confirmation info and can turn around take your purchase away? I have all correspondences if you need them

I just don't believed I was treated fairly and Vivid Seats was ethical they way they handled this matter.

I wanted to update my report on Vivid Seats. I got a called tonight  from Vivid Seats and we made an agreement. I won't go into the details but, I do feel today I was handled fairly. Thanks to Ripoff Report for making my cause known and Vivid Seats making amends.
