Wachovia bank has proven to be the most conniving bank thats ever existed. They claim to satisfy customer needs yet they go and take thier money or do things on their account without notifying the customer.

I admit to have had my account overdrawn quite a few times but not purposely just never got to the bank in time or even had time because I'm always working. So I received a check for $2,000.00 and went to deposit it.

Two days later, I went online to check the status of my balance and it had given me an available balance of $2,048.81. I went to the doctors that day and used my atm card without a problem.

Then I went to the supermarket and bought a few things went to use my atm to find out it was declined. So I go back to work to check my online account and find out my account was in overdraft of $18.19.

Now not only was that a shock but I had checks that were sent in the mail for payments. So needless to say I went into overdraft with all checks returned and fees of $315.00 and wachovia only reversed $245.00 which was unfair because they decided to put my check on hold without my knowing.

It's upsetting to know how your money is handle by such a bad bank. They have no respect for thier customers and they do as they pleased. They could care less what happens to your account and just tell you "oh well you knew what you were doing."

I mean what kind of customer service is that? The reps try to accuse me of taking risks and that I did writing of checks on purpose.

I've been with Wachovia for 3yrs and never have I had to endure such horrible customer service and insults from the reps. Wachovia bank thinks that we're all made of money and feel that they can do as they please with their customers account.

Another incident just recently, I had this joint account and I haven't used that account in over 2yrs and unfortunately you can't ever trust the person so that account went into overdraft.

Now I don't know how long it has been in overdraft but what I do know is I had received one statement from Wachovia and a small letter notice notifying me that the account was overdrawn and it needed to get paid or it will go into overdraft.

Well, today I checked my account and all I had was $230.18 and I had payments that i made so now my account is in overdraft of $201.18. Plus a $75 check and 49$ which will cause my account to go into overdraft of $325.18 plus the fee charges of returned check and that will be $120 so do the math and that comes out to an overdraft of $445.18!!

Wachovia won't reversed the fees. Now why is my account in overdraft?

Well they took what was left of that money and put towards the other account without letting me know that's what they were doing. Now regardless if its stated in their policy it doesn't say the length that they wait for on overdraft account to be paid.

So why wasn't I notified about it? Wachovia took the liberty of taking my money and doing as they pleased not notifing me of the situation or even taking consideration if I had any bills to pay!

How can one trust a bank like Wachovia? I'd say becareful with Wachovia bank because they do not care for the customer.

They do not satisfy the customer's needs. They feel that they can do what they want and take advantage of the situation. They have no heart nor consideration and just sit there and take money!

It's not fair and they should be stopped or be investigated on how they run their branches and systems because we should be notified of how long an overdraft can be in before they either report to the bureau or take money from another account.

Think long and hard about going to Wachovia Bank. They might just start stiffing you for money and fees without you ever knowing!!

I know exactly how you feel because back in June of this year there was alot of things that had happened to my Wachovia account. First my account was garnished for medical bill(which was my fault, but at that time I didn't have the money so they took the $816 out the account) but what Wachvoia didn't bother to tell me was that there was an extra $100 processing fee for the garnishment then they charge me another fee. So then I received a check that somebody have sent me because I was selling my son's baby things and when that check came back as no good they turned around again and charged me another fee for something that wasn't even my fault because of the simple fact that the person who had mailed me the check had turned around and either stopped payment on the check or they told Wachovia not to pay the check all I know right now is that my account is now closed because of them and they say I that owe them a total of $190.....I'm going to pay them off because I don't want to go against my credit, but luckly I have a bank account with---and I had them now for almost 3 months and they are a whole lot better than Wachovia.
