I realized on the way home from the beach one day I HAD to get an oil change ASAP. So I stopped in at the Wal-Mart Lube Express, as I haven't had problems with other Wal-Marts (it was my first trip to this one).

They said that yes, they would go ahead and do my oil change and asked the standard questions about replacing air filters, etc. I said to go ahead and replace what they needed to. I went back to the counter a half hour later to pay and get my keys. I asked the cashier if they had put in the other items, he went out to ask the mechanics what exactly they did...little did they know my husband just walked in the shop door and could hear every word. He overheard the head mechanic refer to the extra items saying:

"NO, BUT WHO CARES, CHARGE THEM FOR IT ANYWAYS-THEY'RE NOT OUR CUSTOMERS."

(meaning I hadn't been there before, & I have Iowa plates on my car still from moving so they probably assumed I would never be back.)

They tried to charge us for it, completely taking advantage-not only that but blatantly lying to cheat me out of money. No respect or dignity.
