Complaint Review: Walmart WIreless - Nationwide

I would like to tell you just how disgusted I am with your Walmart.com and how they have handled my wireless situation... I ordered a phone for my husband and I in December 2013. I did it because you were offering a $100 gift card if you bought certain phones. So I ordered one of those phones and my husband ordered another phone that was not a part of the "special". When I ordered it it never showed that it was not available. After a week my husband's phone came in but mine never did. I called the "Whereismyorder.com" number provided and they said my phone was on back order and they did not know when it would be in. CONVENIENTLY!!! So I waited and decided to see if I could get a phone that was available and still get the $100 gift card. They guy I spoke to give me a list of what I could get. Of that list only 2 were available. So I chose the cheaper of the 2 and still had to pay $10 to get it when the one I originally wanted was $.01. I did not mind since I was told I would bet getting the $100 gift card. I was told I would get it in January in an email. OK fine! So middle of January I never received it so I called the "Whereismyorder.com" number to find out why. I was then told that the phone I got was not a part of the promotion. I told them the man that the customer service representative to let me know if it was qualifying. I wanted to make sure it was a part of the promotion. The guy I ordered my phone through told me it was. I was now being told it wasn't. I told them I wanted it investigated because this was BULL S***!!!! So after a month of constant calling and trying to figure out what was going on and me being told "We are still looking into it". I find out that the phone call was never listened to (the phone call was recorded and they said they would listen to it). I finally let them know if I have to I will take this to court. Well all of a sudden I have a guy from Simplicity calling my phone with the name of Chida Onyeabor saying they were going to look into the phone call and not to call "Whereismyorder.com" number anymore to talk with him. So I did. Now we are into the end of March 2014. He said they listened to the phone call and I was correct they guy gave me the wrong phone to buy and I did offer to buy the more expensive phone but he guaranteed me the cheaper phone would get me the $100 gift card. He said they would send me a $100 check rather than a gift card. After clearing this with my bank that it would be OK and a hold would not be put on it I waited. 2 weeks after that phone call (now we are at the beginning of April 2014) he said they never sent the check out and he could not tell me why. I tried to call him back and no one answers the phone, I tried calling "Whereismyorder.com" number and it is disconnected, the web site is down and when I called walmart.com all the numbers they provide were disconnected as well. I am tired of the run around. I want my money I was owed. I did what I was supposed to. If I have to I will file paperwork and make Walmart pay it since I bought it off your web site. It is not my fault you contracted Simplicity to do your work and now I get paperwork saying they are filing Chapter 11 and now they REFUSE to give me my $100 I was promised. I want it and I want it now. I am tired of the run around.

I would greatly appreciate my phone in a timely fashion since I was promised it in January. Getting the $10 back I had to pay on the phone just to get the $100 gift card but never received would be nice as well. I think your company owes me a heck of a lot more than just a $100 gift card at this point. I do plan on letting everyone know about this. News companies, web site blogs…… everyone. This is ridiculous how this is being ran and I am getting the run around.
