Our Company has worked with Able Housing, INC on several projects and learned from our sister company to ask for payment up front before we do the job.
This job in particular that D'Ann Skaggs ask us to perform was to set a house up for a family that had no place to stay since there home was destroyed by fire. Playing on our symphathy we dropped other clients to ensure that we could do ALL we could to help them have a place to stay. Our company setup and dlivery mobile homes on a DAILY basis. We are fully LICENSED AND INSURED to perform this job as well as a member of the TMHA( Tennessee Manufactured Housing Association) this home was set up and we then realized that Able Housing, INC had not obtained the proper permits from the county in which the home was to be set.
The home was transported and set up on 01/15/2014 from Sringfield, TN to Cedar Hill, TN we transported, used heavy equipment to place the home, installed the house, and used a vapor barrier all this totaled $2350.00 plus the blocks, anchors and tie downs we used total $2649.75 for the job. On January 17, 2014 we were asking for confirmation that pay was sent out for ALL of the services in which we had performed. D'Ann was called and ask on several occassions that we need the pay for the job in which we had performed, CALL WERE NEVER RETURNED by no member at Able Housing, INC. Late Friday afternoon melonie went into D'Ann's email and found the copy of the check and also the Fedex tracking number for our company funds. LATER ON on Monday 20th day of January 2014 the funds still had not appeared and when calling back we were informed that the funds were never sent out. We have proff of delivery as well as the services performed by our companies and a copy of the FALSE check. Our attorneys are currently handling this situation to get it resolved.
WE WILL NEVER WORK FOR THIS COMPANY AGAIN UNLESS FUNDS ARE DELIVERED 1ST.
Upon further review we have sent someone down to check on the house and they have moved it from that location to another location ( I HOPE WHO EVER PERFORMED THAT SERVICE GOT PAID) upon speaking with TMHA and that county there NEVER were any permits pulled for that county and the company will be fined for that. We just need our funds paid for all the expenses we were out along with employees pay that we paid out in good faith that they would pay for all of the services performed.
Valerie Gomez and D'Ann Skaggs have CONTINUSLY lied to us and we have ask on several occasions to speak to the manager in which we were given the name of Jerry???? unsure if he is Manager or not!!!!!
TOTAL RIPOFF COMPANY!!
