The Washington Estates is crawling with problems. It is an infestation of munipluation and deception. I have been living here for only 1 year, and my problems began just a couple months later. For starters this "waiting list" they put you on to fix the problems in your home is their way of telling you "my friends come first". To their knowledge my back door still doesn't lock and when the trailer settled none of my doors shut without lifting them up. When does your safety mean being put on hold. The police have been called on me many times and the complaint? My kids are too loud. Management knew beforehand that I was a single mother so if that were going to be a problem for my nursing home bound neighbors why would they move me to a dead end road with no kids? Because of that issue we have been threatened many times to be evicted with one manager inparticular trying her best to go through with it only to be turned down for "no good cause". Not to mention they have children in and out of trouble at school, yet we point no fingers. We have had things stolen from our yard such as two of my children's bikes, and had our patio table shattered with a hockey stick. There are children in the neihborhood unsupervised that are banging on my door at night and running. To keep my children involved we like to have small fires at night and roast marshmallows together. But not without the distraction of the neighbors either watching us or calling the fire department which they have been told several times our small, yet contained fire is of no threat to them or their trailer.
My neighbor has also been taking pictures of my kids and sending them to management. I have been shown these pictures by management and warned that we could get evicted. It seems that is always their go to procedure. Just because I haven't lived here as long doesn't mean I am any less of an honest person that the people you have come to know for so long. In fact, that would make me reevaluate my friendship with them. This woman across the street has videotaped my son riding his skateboard in the street claiming he is "disobedient". My children have never been in trouble nor are they bad kids. They are at the top of their class and go to church twice a week. We just, unfortunately, moved to a bad area. The trouble here only seems to continue when the neighbors put you down and call you names in front of your children and management tells you it's best if your the one that leaves. When these neighbors are selling coke and smoking pot it makes things a little sketchy on behalf of the property runners.
I think the streets up here could use a little more attending to. Maybe they need to improvise a curfew for the young ones. Maybe then half of the problems could be resolved.
