Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I placed an order on Wal-Marts website and received the confirmation number. A couple of days later I went to check the status of the order and it said that it had been canceled. I sent three emails asking why the order had been canceled. Never received a reply. Needless to say, they lost my business for that item. I won't be ordering on line with them again. I'll go thru Target.

This also isn't the first time that I had problems with ordering on line. The last time I had ordered I did the Ship to Store. The item wasn't supposed to be shipped for about 10 business days, so I waited about 7 business days and that's when I found out that the item had been sitting in the store for the last 7 calendar days. I never received an email stating that the item was ready for pick up like the instructions tell you will hapen. That night I went and picked up the item and then the next day, I received an email that it was ready for pick up. I sent an email telling them what had happened and that somebody had dropped the ball. I received an email stating that they had sent an email. I emailed them back telling them to show me proof, resend the email. Never happened.

My guess is that they have my account noted that if I order something on line to cancel the order because this person is a "problem".

It's looking like you ordered an item, but for some reason it got cancelled in process... why that happened is beyond me, so I cannot help with the first case. But the Site 2 Store is something I deal directly with as a CSM, and sometimes customers tend to order something that we do indeed have in store on the shelves already. Once again, with a lot of our customers, they don't get an email because they might have their Spam Filter on or whatever means, so they may not get an email. It is a good idea to count out about 8 business days and go to your store on they day counted. Something different here is that Wal-Mart Inc.'s "Business Days" are Monday-Saturday. The only day excluded is Sunday. So in Wally World, if you order on Tuesday, you can expect it to be in store by about next Wednesday, because Saturday is a business day. I'm not gonna post anymore, but will leave you with this closing thought. I will admit that by them cancelling your order and NOT TELLING YOU WHY, they have wronged you, but are you gonna persue it? Did they give your money back from your payment? If they didn't, you need to get them for credit card fraud. If they did refund it, you're in good shape, just take the chip off your shoulder and see if you can find the item somewhere else. I'm sorry if I seemed like opposition in my previous post, I was just listing possible reasons for why this happened. Best Wishes.

Clearly didn't read original report correctly

Josh, you must not have read the original report correctly, because I do have valid complaint. My original complaint was that an order that I placed online was canceled after I made a complaint about not receiving another order previously in a timely manner. Second, you said that I received an email. The only time I received an email was the day after I picked up the DVD. Also, there is a difference between calendar days and business days, as I stated in my original post. Next time, take time to read the original post carefully before putting your two cents in that are not correct.

Yeah, Ordering online can be a hassle sometimes, but for your site 2 store....

I really don't think you had a problem here... You received an email stating your item was ready for pickup... ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GO TO THE STORE-EMAIL OR NOT!!! Tell the Site to Store clerk your Last name, First name, or your telephone number, whichever your clerk prefers, and they can pull up your order that way... Point blanc, this is for everyone. NOT EVERYONE WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL!!! BUT THE ITEMS ARE USUALLY READY IN STORE WITHIN 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS!!! IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ESSENTIALLY KNOW WHEN THE ITEMS WILL BE IN. I don't see how your items could have been in for the past 10 days, unless you waited 20 days after your purchase to check... In that case, you wanna be careful, because if the item sits in the bin for a month, we send it right back. Of course, you will be notified by email when we do send it back, and you SHOULD be refunded, but there's no guarantee. Just use your common sense, I know you have to have some. Any other questions? Please feel free to update with one.
