WELLAND FINANCIAL FOUNDATIONS ripoff fraud scam identity theft ALMA Michigan
Fraud! Fraud! Fraud! I had applied for a loan through WELLAND FINANCIAL FOUNDATIONS. I had looked through the website and everything looked to be in order. I sent all my information including social security number, drivers license, check stubs and checking account numbers. They said I was approved for $15,OOO & faxed me all the paper work, it looked legit. They then said even though I was approved I needed to send them $908.00 For "INSURANCE" reasons since I was high risk. This caused some suspicion.
When I asked if they were going to just take it of my bank account they said they did'nt have the authority to do & I would have to western union it to a name rather than a company. I later spoke to a western union employee about the matter & she told me it was fraud and to not send them any money. I proceeded to look into the matter and noticed some red flags with the comapny. For one thing thier address did'nt come up.
They claimed to be located on 187 Moyer Avenue in Alma, MI 48801. Which is false. I then later called their supposed main office in Livonia,MI Which turns out to be Rock financials main office. They knew nothing about Wellands Financial and had no affilation with them!I looked at the loan papers they had faxed to me & the address came up as Toronto, Ontario Canada. This place is a fraud & will take your money & identification from you and you will never hear from them again! They prey on people with bad or no credit and should be locked up!
