Saguaro Stoneworks & Wendy Aber, Phoenix, Arizona and Colorado
Stay far away from this company. They make empty promises and cant deliver anything. I was working with them for stonework on my custom home and pool. I should have realized after going to their website that they were a scam, since they dont post an address or a showroom. I spoke to Wendy (now I know her as Wendy Aber one of the principals). I have never seen a more useless s**t stain in my life. She was horrible, pretentious and was just the worst. Shes a typical dumb blonde know it all and you cant get a word in, because she just loves to hear herself speak. She is an expert in absolutely nothing. She and her partner Jeff claim to be a minority owned/women owned business, but this useless hatchet wound couldnt deliver free tacos on Cinco de Mayo. When we met with her she went into a diatribe on how she had worked in a clinic or was a VP in lab probably testing pap smears; like it gave her some credibly to help us in our stone needs.
Their website states: Business partners Wendy Aber and Jeff Estes, who together have over 25 years experience in the customer service and business management industry and a combined 14 years in hardscape and landscape designs and installations. Wendy Aber thinks going to Home Depot and creating a walkway in her backyard with 10 cent bricks or fixing a broken sprinkler head counts as 14 years of landscape design and installation. Who do you think you are fooling? Plus 25 years of customer service and business management? In what, screwing people out of their money? Please!!!
If you want real stone work, veneers, or pavers, and design and want it to last a long time and not crumble and fall apart, then avoid Wendy Aber and Saguaro Stoneworks at all cost! You will be glad you did. There are a lot better companies out there with large showrooms and a helpful staff who knows something about stone, design, masonry and creating a great backyard environment. We ended up talking to AZ Tile and few other niche stone companies in Scottsdale which gave better service, better pricing and actually have some experience in design, stone, and customer service.

It should be noted that we have never worked for a gentlemen by the name of "Pete" in Glendale. However, I do share a water well with a gentlemen by the name of Pete who likes to intimidate people and since he can not scare me by his regular bully tactics that he does with the rest of the property owners he would most likely resort to writing awful things such as this to try to impact my business. I do not speak to my clients about my personal career choices, shop at Home Depot for my clients products, or even fix broken sprinkler heads so whatever this "gentlemen" is speaking of is completely false. Our products do not crumble or fall apart as there is a lifetime warranty on our paver products that we install so again this shows we have never done any work for this person. Furthermore, we have been privileged enough to keep our business thriving in these tough economic times and we have not worked on any custom homes or pools in Phoenix or Glendale since 2007 so we certainly did not perform work at his house. Ironically we have had serious well issues in this same time period. I would expect Ripoff Report to filter their reports more carefully if they expect this forum to be considered a reputable resource.
