After working thirteen hours I wanted to treat myself to a veg out fest in front of the tv while I ate some ridiculously delicious and bad for you food. Little did I know just how bad that would be!

I placed my order and as I payed the Wendy's dive through attendant asked me to pull up and wait as they cooked my burger patties. Yay - fresh burgers!

I get home and hubby has kids asleep and tv waiting for me. We set up our meals and proceed to enjoy really delicious, freshly cooked burgers. I've got to hand it to them for the quality of the meal.

Just for the one small detail - mid burger I bite into an extremely hard object cracking my back right tooth. To my utter shock and disbelief I spit out a bolt/screwdriver the size of my pinky. Yes, ladies and gentlemen - the size of my P I N K Y!!!

My husband is just as dumbfounded as I am. How can a person not notice this?!?!? Not only is it large, but shiny, too!!!!!

We call the store to inform them of the issue only to be mocked and practically dared to bring the bolt/screw back to the store. Mind you, at one in the morning and being showered and in pjs, that was the very last thing I wanted to do. After hearing the employees chuckle and laugh amongst themselves I decided to drive over.

Upon arriving there was no immediate apology from the employee. "What burger did you want me to make for you?" NONE! I was let in by the side door to be greeted by the most apologetic manager I've ever encountered. Congrats to him for being genuine and sincere. No sarcasm; honest to goodness truth.

His employees; another story. The snickering, disrespectful and stereotyping where undeniably ignorant and out of line. No one wants to leave the comfort of their own home with excruciating pain in their mouth to speak to strangers about a bolty burger.

No, I do not find that to be acceptable entertainment on my time off.

I left my business card, with my cell and email. I may not be easy to reach as I am in Events and the holidays are insane for my industry, but you have my work email-send me an email, shoot me a text!!!! It was weeks later that I lodged my complaint to the corporate site indicating I had a video, pictures and the bolt burger in the freezer that merited a swift response from a pleasant manger offering to compensate my experience by "treating you and your husband to a couple of sandwiches".

The district manager seemed concerned, shifting blame to the burger patty supplier instead. Again, no offer to cover dental expenses. Granted my teeth are not in pristine conditions, a chipped tooth is nonetheless a chipped tooth.

I wish they had extended that courtesy to at least cover the dental work.

Blame game the employee, the supplier; even the darned bolt, but the truth of the matter is the manager was unable to take the bolt away from me because he knows I am legit in making this claim. This bolt will either match the existing bolts in the store or at the manufacturers facilities. At the end of the day, whatever you do it's under the Wendy's name. No excuses - completely negligent.

So if you want to be a part of this negative fad of "custom" burgers from Wendy's; the Blunt Burger receny making headlines @ABCNews.com, or my Bolt Burget, make sure to drive through and pay for your future pain. Parental advisory - if your child is lucky enough to consume a Bolt Burger be prepared to preform the Heimleich and endure gastrointestinal surgery to remove it least they buzz at every airport checkpoint!
