People complain, that Wendy's are Slave drivers to their employees: low pay, don't treatstaff right. To which a writer replied "you need to work hard and work your way up the ladder. you'll get Benifits, 60k pay,etc..."Guess what, instead.. you get near the top of the ladder, after working 25 years, from shift manager, to Store Manager.. good reveiws...hard working, dedicated emplyee, YOU GET PUSHED OFF!!
Wendystreats it best employees just as bad.District Managers want to maketheir budget, resume look better.Just ruin someone else life, Wendys should state that on their Applications that you will be fired once you get near the top. Corp shouldlook into getting a new District Manager, (I'm sure they won'tmind being out of a job right before the Holidays and finnaly enough money saved to get a house last month.) one that cares aboutpeople not investors etc...

Working Wendy's or any fast food should NEVER be looked at as a career. These jobs are simply there for you to survive while you look for something else. Just common sense here.
25 years at Wendy's? Why in the hell would anyone do that? Now, I would guess you are at least 43, right? Now you are 43+ years old in an industry that wants to hire kids for nothing, and no other work experience to get another good job outside the fast food industry.
I guess your only option now is to get yourself out there with a good resume and pound the pavement .
Some employment agencies can be a good way to get your foot in the door for an interview.
I would apply for any management job if I were in your position, but don't alienate your one and only work reference!
