April 1, 2004. Spoke with owner of White's yesterday after about five phone calls to the company. I got lucky and he answered the phone! I explained my displeasure with how I was being handled as a customer. I also wanted to know when someone was going to be out to take care of the gap in my carpet. He promised me someone would be out the next day. Sure enough, at 7:54 this morning, I got a phone call and was told someone was on the way. Sure enough when the carpet was pulled it was on a seam and since there was no extra carpet available, they had to stretch it. You can see the seam but I was assured it would "disappear". We'll see if it does. I still haven't heard when the mill rep will be out to check the carpet spots..I'll give them until next Wednesday to get back with me. I'll keep updates as I get them.
