Today I contacted WLI Travel Values Plus by telephone (800 number) and inquired about the $7.00 Charge made to my credit card. The lady who answered the phone was very professional and stated that the membership to their service was incurred when I renewed my membership to "BlueMountain.Com" (e-greeting card services). She explained that there was an Award Certificate Offer associated with anyone whe signed up offering monetary discounts on travel, and that I had authorized membership to their services by entering my email address twice (required). I advised her that I remember viewing the offer and started filling out the required information to qualify but decided it was not beneficial and a come on and backed out of it(the associated web page). She asked me if I wanted to cancel my membership and wanted the $7.00 Charge refunded to my credit card account. I advised her yes and she stated it would be accomplished within 3 days then gave me a confirmation number. Soooo............ if you have had one of these charges show up on your credit card, I would recommend taking quick action and contact WLI Travel Values Plus... Also, I have emailed Blue Mountain and questioned their participation in this incident (no reply yet). I believe that I will cancel membership with Blue Mountain and look for a more reputable service!!!!!!!!!!
