Thank for taking the time to notify us of the recent service call placed at the property you rent. Wolfe Plumbing Heating AC Inc's policy is not to dispatch to renters unless the landlord has authorized this. When our Customer Service Representive answers the phone they inform each and every customer of our dispatch fee and ask if the caller is the home owner. We will not dispatch to a renter because the landlord is the owner of the property and is the only legally authorized person to accept the charges. The woman who called to schedule the service call misrepresented herself as the homeowner when in fact she was not. Subsequently, we followed up with the landlord the following day with our proposal. We apologize for any confusion that may have occured

I have a consumer response. Look ar your Orange County Phone Book. On the cover is a coupon you could have used to take a credit against the service call. In December 2003, my furnace died. I called Wolfe at 8:00AM. A technician was there at 9:30AM, and reviewed the choices for a new furnace. I made my decision, and the crew was at m home by 11:30AM with the new furnace. By 6:00PM, my home was warm again.
