sale-buys.com after much email correspondence I decided to invest over $500 for a new apple iphone. After they kept asking for more money due to tax, customs, freight expenses that i'd been ripped off! Internet
Having received the website www.sale-buys.com from a friend I was interested to see what it had to offer. I clicked on the site to see a legit electronics wholesaler of American products such as smartphones, tv's and other miscellaneous electronics products. Having read a series of testimonials and conducted a google search of the website I had no reason to believe it were fraudulent so begun email correspondence discussing the compatibility of buying a us iphone to use in australia. The correspondence was professional and again seemed legit so I purchased the product through bank transfer to another bsb (dumb i know). I received an email a week after purchase informing me the product had not got through customs and that I needed to pay an items export tax totalling more than the product itself (product = $450). I asked for a refund however over a week later and no response.
I have changed my account details just in case however please do not shop at www.sale-buys.com
