The only affiliation I have with Xray guitars is that I have purchased one of these guitars, with that said, the report above is completely without any merit and an obvious campaign to discredit xray guitars and their products. I bought one of these guitars in 2009 (#169A) and it is one of the nicest guitars I own, and I own some "high end" guitars from ESP, Jackson, Charvel. Everything was built to my request, wood used, pickups, tuners, nut size ,everything. The care that went into the fine details of things like fret dressing you rarely see from the big boy manufacturers. So when I see bogus complaints like the one above, it angers me that someone would stoop to that level because (1) They cant match the quality and/or price and try to discredit them to hurt their business (2) are in or trying to get in to that market and are using bullying tactics to reclaim or takeover their market area. It may not be for you but it is not poor quality junk, that comes from China.

OK people. This report on X-Ray Guitars is completely without merit and sounds like someone at JFROG wrote it. Who ever wrote this report is only expressing their personal views on this company and their products without ever having purchased or tried these amazing guitars or this is an attempt to get you to buy one from JFROG. Sure does sound like to me that someone is jealous of X-Ray Guitar cause no where in this report does it say anything about them purchasing a guitar and getting ripped off. This report shouldn't have even been allowed to be posted because it it pure speculation and nonsense.
No, I am not the owner nor an employee of this company, but I do own 2 of these guitars and they are absolutely amazing in craftsmanship and they only use top quality parts and materials. I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and I have owned allot of guitars of all brands from low end up to high end $5000.00 guitars and I can tell you since I have owned these guitars I haven't even played one of my other guitars and I have had the Skull & Bones guitar for about a year now. This guitar offers way more than any of the high end guitars I own, they sound better, play better, feel better.
As far as the hideous comment, well everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, this guitar is not suppose to be an exact replica of the original, it's inspired from the original with the artists rendition, which in my humble opinion the design has been upgraded from the original and certainly looks better. The author of the original report is way out of line accusing X-Ray of using a "FANCY CNC MACHINE". As an owner of this guitar, as my guitars where made I received pictures of the progress and I can tell you these guitars are hand carved.
My advise to anyone who reads this report is to use some common sense here. I am a very happy customer as well as many others I have come in contact with that also own one of these guitars. Look up customer reviews for some of the other makers of this guitar like JFROG. I found review after review for other makers that where scary to say the least.
Do your research people and take the original report on X-Ray Guitar as it is, a competitor trying to discredit a better made guitar.

The author of the rip-off report concerning X-Ray Guitars has no clue as to what he is talking about! The X-Ray guitars are more accurate to the J. Frog original than the sub-par ESP versions. I think the author has never played one of these beauties or seen one up close. The ESP version of the George Lynch Skull and Bones guitars were way off, and looked different than the J. Frog version. The X-Ray Guitars Bootleg Bones is dead-on accurate to the J. Frog original, play like a dream, and priced better.
