It all boils down to how much money they got out of you the time of the sale. Walk away from the service department and go to this dealer's sales department and act like you want to trade that troubled truck in and see how fast they want to talk to you. It all depends on what goal you have. Get it fixed or trade it in. You getting it fixed makes the dealer no money. On the other hand, you trading it in might put some cash in the sales department's pockets. Try this. Go to any of these General Motors web sites and see if you can find any email address of people that work for GM that are willing to hear what you have to say about your truck troubles. I am willing to bet that you will not find ONE PERSON that is willing to try to help you. Buick Motor Division, General Motors www.buick.com Cadillac Motor Car Division, General Motors www.cadillac.com Chevrolet Motor Division, General Motors www.chevrolet.com General Motors www.gm.com General Motors of Canada Ltd. www.gmcanada.com Oldsmobile Division, General Motors www.oldsmobile.com Pontiac-GMC Division, General Motors www.pontiac.com Saturn Corp. www.saturncars.com I believe that car makers don't care about you after the sale just like the car dealers. Jerry My job here at Rip Off Report.com is to help car buyers expose the deception in the automotive industry. Now that being said. I would like you to use the follow local contact info in your area and send them all a direct link to your Rip Off Report. Most of your local media will never do anything to help the car buying consumer. Now here is your chance to prove my point about the mainstream media doing nothing for the car buyers of America. They love the car dealer's advertising money they get. Email the following people a direct link. Let these people know that one of their advertisers is now on the big HOT SEAT. This list right below is a list of people that work at CBS 5 in your area. email them a link and see if you get a reply. [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] Next contact KNXV TV 15. This TV station does not have any reporters email addresses posted. Call them up at (602) 273-1500 and in a real nice way ask the operator for the TV stations fax number. Then fax a "Printer Friendly Version" of your Rip Off Report to them. Or try this, email address that I found. [email protected] See if you get a reply. You might have fun emailing their programming director at [email protected] See if you get a reply. Front Desk: 602.273.1500 News Desk: 602.685.6397 [email protected] Next we have KPNX-TV 12 1101 N. Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85004 Call these numbers and see if anybody at this station will listen to what you have to say. I am willing to bet they all would do a news story if you lost control of your truck because of mechanical breakdown and killed 4 or 5 kids at a school play ground. So why not before a bad accident? 12 Main Phone Number (602) 257-1212 12 News Phone Hotline (602) 257-6630 Call 12 for Action (602) 260-1212 The Point that I am trying to make here, is that I feel that the media all across this great country are in bed with the good and the bad car dealers. I also feel the same about newspapers. Call up your local big newspaper and ask for the advertising department. Once you get a sales rep on the phone, ask how much for a FULL PAGE ad will cost for just one day, say a Saturday. Then you will see just how much money they get from the good and the bad car dealers. Better yet, Here is their sales departments phone number. Call the classified advertising department at(602) 444-7355. All I am trying to do is let the car buyers know that you have to be on your toes all of the time when dealing with car dealers.
