You're the Star Video Productions, Bad videos with a serving of bad attitude all at an outrageous price Santa Barbara, California
We hired them in July to video our ceremony and reception. The quality was about as good as what my brother filmed for us so it wasn't worth the $2,500 they charged us.
The real insult was the amount of time and effort it took to get the final product. The owner, Gary Conlin kept bragging about how busy he was and how important his other projects were and how in demand his services were so we needed to be patient.
Two months later my Dad called them and read them the riot act. We finally got the DVD about a week ago.
It was so bad we asked them to please edit out the parts that were definitely not G rated. His response was it would cost $250 per hour and we should just leave it because it showed his "true artistry" and we should appreciate it and be grateful that he "captured the essence of the event"
This guy has an ego the size of Montana and talent the size of a pea.
It was not worth the effort or the expense. We wished we had hired someone else. My Dad is still fuming mad about it.
