I purchased 2 items from this company in Sept. as a gift. I received an empty envelope that was stamped by the post office as damaged and received without contents. I notified ziggymart via phone several times and then by email. I received a sarcastic email on October 2nd stating the items were back ordered and would ship in a week. This email was received after I threatened to go to my back and request a credit for the non received merchandise. Today I contacted them requesting a refund and advised that if a refund was not forthcoming I would contact Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. Here is a portion of the email received from their fearless leader

CALL ME ON THE PHONE 1ST THING AT 8 OCLOCK TOMORROW  MORNING AND I'LL TELL YOU A THING OR TWO.   GLOBAL CORPORATIONS?  YEAH RIGHT.   I EAT GLOBAL CORPORATIONS FOR BREAKFAST.   I DON'T THINK YOU KNOW WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH AND IF YOU DID,  YOU'D SHUT YOUR MOUTH RIGHT AWAY.   HERE'S YOUR PENNY ANNIE REFUND.  I HOPE YOU ENJOY BEING A THIEF AND SMOKING FROM YOUR FREE PROTOPIPE ONCE IT ARRIVES.

As you can see they do not have any customer service skills and I would recommend never doing business with them. Granted this problem was a postal issue that could have been easily resolved with respect and customer service as we were both the loser on this one. I would have been more than happy to provide the postal information so they could have received a refund from the postal service and neither of us would have been out any money. The Inspector general at the post office stated I was to contact them for a refund or a new shipment and that is what I did. If Ziggymart would likes some tips on how to run a business and keep customers I would be happy to teach them great customer service skills. I have now canceled my credit card number and if I have to will turn them over to authorities for harassment as I no longer trust this corporation with my personal information and the owner who's name is on the emails seems to be immature and crazy so lets see if we get the refund that they show they have now completed. Good customer service can go a long way so please only purchase from this company if you want to be treated with disdain when you spend the money you work hard for.
