For two months I tracked the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H5 7.2MP Digital Camera. on the Zipzoomfly website almost daily. The very first day I noticed the $279.99 price that was considerably cheaper than the $450+ price of other sites, I called and inquired. The sales person I spoke to informed me it was indeed the correct price and told me all I had to do was signup for the Back-In Stock alert, which was sent by email. I signed up with 2 different emails, of which one would alert my pager.

About a week ago I got impatient and called Zipzoomfly and spoke to another sales person that confirmed that in 2 weeks the camera would be in and I would indeed be able to purchase the camera at the low cost. Before the 2 weeks was up I went to the Zipzoomfly website and saw my camera being advertised for $459. I called insisted on a manager who told me that the price went up and the price I saw advertised was just something they put up until they took physical inventory of the product. I told him how long I waited and all the proper steps like the Back-In Stock alert. He refused to give me the product for the previously advertised price and I felt ripped off. This is bait and switch and I want to warn others about this website.
