I too lost a cat to a Zodiac product. My cat went into seazures after being given the "spot-on" product that was reccommended by the pet store employee "I use it, it works great". Not only did the spot-on kill my otherwise healthy cat, but it didn't get rid of any of the fleas. I had to switch to another similar product that my vet recommended. I warn everyone out there these products are unhealthy for cats. There are other products that work without the nasty side effect of dead.

I am sorry for your loss. I'm sure now you know this, but for anyone else out there, check with your vet before giving any type of flea or tick killer. There are products out there that appear to be unsafe and not well tested. Don't ask the pet store or supply house, ask the vet. He/she will know if the ingredients are safe for use with your companion animal.
