Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I am a victim of Deep Sea Cosmetics (Adore store in Tyrone Mall, Saint Petersburg). I have returned the unopened products with my husband (recorded it on video) the day after and was told, NO REFUNDS! I have attempted to return everything WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF PURCHASE WHEN I REALIZED THAT I BECAME A VICTIM but the store closed. When I got home, I immediately called my bank to cancel the transaction and initiated a dispute. Money loss: $3,691.50 I have never thought in my life that I would encounter such horrifying experience at the mall. On 1/31/2022 around 5pm, I was just walking through the mall when a young woman stopped me in front of Adore cosmetics store and asked me if she can try their anti wrinkles product on me. I trusted her right away and purchased an around the eyes anti wrinkles cream for a $267.50 dollars. That transaction didn’t end there because another sales person, a super "friendly” Israeli guy, Shalom, asked if I was interested in a much better system that I can use for my entire face and neck, not just around my eyes and he started using red light on one side of my face, stating that he could already see the difference and that I needed to consider his option instead of an expensive face lift surgery after which he proceeded to go down on the price every time I said that I wasn’t interested. He insisted that I deserve to get something nice for myself and that I was like his mom and wanted me to enjoy this skin care system and feel good without trying facelift surgery because I was so nice and he liked me since I was from Europe and he was really chatty and kind, learned that I was a registered nurse and about my battle with cancer. Instead of the pushy techniques, a "friendly" approach is being used nowadays. The conversation involved mostly generous compliments and amiable chatter. At this point I already have the intuition that something is not right but I gave them the benefit of the doubt even though I said I wanted to do my own research and talk to my husband before I purchased something so expensive. Then he calls his manager to get "an even better discount” while throwing "free” creams, two facial treatments and even an after shave for my husband. I keep telling him that I don’t want to buy it now while he’s asking me what credit card do I want to use and that he is going to deduct the money I already paid for the product for around the eyes that the woman sold me and was going to exchange for the Perfectio system. Shame on me for not being able to just be firm and just say NO but shame on them for taking advantage of people. I can’t believe that I got manipulated by those two to believe that I needed something for wrinkles in the first place because I am 55 years old and I was blessed genetically with lots of collagen. I really wanted to leave and felt so uncomfortable because the guy was so friendly and acted as if he really wanted to help me. To cut the story short, I ended up paying $3,691.50, said yes and just wanted them to leave me alone while feeling pressured to buy the items. I didn’t see a sign that said "no refund” at the time of purchase. My bank upheld the scam shop’s "no refund” policy. NOW THEY HAVE MY MONEY AND THE MERCHANDISE. My oncologist instructed me not to use red light or any products on my face and neck (I can provide a letter from my physician because I had cancer and they monitored everything very closely) and I informed Etan Gamiel, Adore supervisor or manager? who stated that I can use the products on my other parts of my body but no refund. Incredible! I fell victim to their sales tactics and they refuse to resolve the issue. I deem this enforcement of the policy to be baseless and unethical. They are preying on vulnerable individuals.

Sadly, the entire system in America has become a complete corrupt lie, just like Wall Street and our government.

Good luck to you!
