Alamo Drafthouse Cimema continuously boasts about thier monthly movie pass that gives the consumer the ability to see a movie a day for only a monthly price of $19.99. Once I purchased it, I learned that the consumer (me) is also responsible for paying a $4.00 "Convenience Fee" per movie. The only way that a Movie Pass member can purchase their tickets is online, so there is no option of avoiding the "Convenient Fee". To break it down, if a movie pass consumer saw a movie a day for a month, they would actually be paying $139.99 monthly ($19.99 + $120 ($4.00 daily for 30 days)). So, if you look at the real cost, you see that the "great deal" that Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is advertising is very deceptive. I believe that Alamo Drafthouse Cinema should either do away with the "Convenience Fee" or just include verbage in their advertisement that the consumer is reasponsible for paying "Convenience Fee" of $4.00 for EVERY movie.
