Carmen Luege is extremely incompetent and is destroying families. She was transferred out of the Civil Law division and placed in the Orange County Family Law Division a little over a year ago. She thinks she is above the law. For example, she will accept only one party's evidence and not the others. She also overlooked contempt of court from respondent as the respondent withheld children for over 3 months with zero contact to the petitioning coparent. Respondent claimed the petitioner was late picking up their children when in the original court order it stated that respondent was supposed to be dropping them off to petitioner. The children have been affected by all this and are afraid that it will happen again.
She claims she comes in on the weekends and reads through all of her pleadings. Once you get in front of her, it will be evident that this is far from the truth! She is an immigrant and has come to America with a vengeance to ruin families lives. In fact, she just lost a major appeal where she ordered somebody to take a psychological evaluation and stopped all visitions with his minor childen. This ruling was over-turned. Carmen Luege is absolutely horrible, not fair, doesn't really know anything about Family Law. She does not folllow the therapists recommendations and makes up her own. That is why she just lost a major appeal against her.
If you are an attorney that is going to be in front of Carment Luege, make sure you file the appropriate paperwork to get assigned to a different judicial officer. Spread the word.
