I went to go in for a procedure on January 12th, 2023 for a procedure to remove a device in me and replace it with the patented Penuma device free. The removal was promised free and an oral contract and a $15000 payment for the procedure Penuma has proved that. Months later, as I was healing, Doctor gave me no certainty on a time point of the procedure and eventually that lead me to lots of email frustrations with the office. They soon let me go as a patient and refunded half my money, but the other half they lied and used that toward the first surgery which was never agreed on nor was a price ever stated for the first surgery. It was all or nothing and this Doctor did not follow the agreed upon deal we made. Plain and simple, he decided to cancel the whole thing when I grew frustrated that as months went on no insertion surgery of his device was discussed. He wanted the money and got it and then turned his back on me the patient taking my pride, my money, my time, left me with no money ($7500 still missing) and I have extreme emotional distress over this which I seek therapy to hopefully heal since $7500 is a ton of money to lose upon paying for a procedure and getting instead one that is not worth a sliver of the cost, which again was free basically apart of agreed upon $15,000 deal
