Scott Hallauer and The Hallauer law firm stole money from me. I wished I would have saw the bad reviews on Avvo.com before I hired him. He is known to steal clients money.
I hired this firm last year to represent me. This lawyer never met with me in person to discuss my case, never did anything but steal my money. I even called to ask are we going to meet and never got a clear response. Then his receptionist tells me oh you all can meet at 10:30 on the day of Court. I never saw him. I paid this man and he stole my money because he did not show up to court. He called me two hours later saying that he was in another courtroom next door. He told me that the charges were split in two which is why he was in a different courtroom than I was.
I found out that they never separate charges like that into two separate rooms by the Clerk of court and the judge. I called Mr Hallauer trying to figure out what was going on and he got very nasty with me and said that I had a capias out for my arrest which was not true. I was in the right courtroom and then he goes on to say that I left early. Why would I leave court early when I have a charge against me, who in their right mind would do that? Then he lies and says I have a capias. Does this sound like somebody that should be representing you? And on top of that he has never seen me before.
He never came out of the courtroom, he never called my name to find out who I was or where I was like other lawyers do in court. He didn't do any of that he stole my money which is not fair and this is why he's on Rip Off Report! Please do not use this man he is a con artist!

This is a public website moron and the public wants to know what you did that required the use of a criminal defense attorney. Your credibility is on the line and failing to answer that affects our ability to adequately judge your complaint.
And yes, we get to judge your complaint because you decided to post this complaint online for people like US to read and make judgments on the attorney. However, we also reserve the right to judge the author since most people complain about a criminal attorney when they lose, or don't get what they want. This makes your complaint more than suspicious.
For now, until Mimi decides to adequately detail the reason why she needed an attorney, there is no way to adequately determine (a) the validity of the complaint, and (b) the credibility of the author. However, based on the rebuttal, we can say with certainty the author is unhinged and lacks credibility.
And don't bother cursing people. Life doesn't work that way. Besides, a pox appears to already be on your house. Otherwise you would not need an criminal attorney. Understand? Good....

I contacted this firm to let them know about this report since you failed to state the reason you hired this attorney and did not even outline the reason or money paid to this firm.
