Got a call from Insight about a position at a low voltage co. that needed help wiring a middle school.

Showed up at co's office, Mgr let me in and i just waited for him to get things together..He wrote down where job was located and who to contact on site.   Company was called Digital Concepts. He never had me fill out any paperwork, such as w-2's ect while there... Got on site and met 1 of their foreman who was a bit slow, and a kid that was 21 who they put over the job as a supervisor, mainly because they didn't have any other workers...He knew a lot less than he thought he knew about how work should be done, such as standards and correct way to be a project manager on a job.

  The 1st day when we were pulling wire we actually ran out of wire and couldn't do everything that we should have been able to do...Then they were talking about a couple of managers that used to work there that had under-bid the job and quit the co., so much so, that they were almost paying to do the job. They also said how they couldn't afford to waste any materials or time, as it was costing them.  The fact that they had managers bid a job so low and quit the co. tells me that someone did them really wrong and they got payback.

  Worked for them for 3 days at 10 hrs a day. During that time I was getting tired of hearing people talk behind your back when you were leaving a room and acting like you knew nothing because you came from a placement agency. I have been doing voice/data/telecom/Low Voltage work and even was a Supervisor for 2 yrs on wireless tower construction sites with 30 yrs experience, compared to their kid with 3 yrs exp.

  One of the main bosses from the co. came to site the 2nd day, sat everyone down and chewed them a bit for running out of wire and not using common sense to let someone know ahead of time. The 3rd day they ran out of wire ties and that was a big thing for them. They asked me and another guy from same temp service if we took them home with us...I told them I had some at home if they needed me to bring them there...Now the other temp guy had worked at the ph co. for years and was very smart. Like me, he had done things that they were clueless about, and probably would never do. When going down to the equiptment room to get some materials, i heard the foreman talking to the kid. The kid said the temp guy told him he'd worked outside at the ph co. for years.. The idiot foreman came back with "well, all I can say is he better learn how to work indoors". .Such a bafoon..

 I quit after the 3rd day, as I was getting tired of the amount of stupidity at this job...

My last day of work was 7/29/20...I am still trying to get my check for 30 hrs from Insight Global. Was told last week, the 1st week of Sept. that the girl that I had been in contact with, that was supposed to be handling this for me had quit....So now, other people were "supposedly" handling it and working on it for me. 

It is now 9/8/20 and I made 3 ph calls and left msgs and sent 2 texts, and 2 e-m's saying that i need some info on my check, now....have heard nothing back. I also, called Labor Board, had to leave msg and waiting for them to call me back.  This is not how you do business, very ridiculous..
