Purchased a 2003 Ford Expedition from them in March of 2018.  The inspection sitcker on the windshield was newer and the vehicle was being sold AS IS.  I took the vehicle for a test drive and it seemed to run great for a 15 year old vehicle.  When I got it home, I put all new breaks, new rotors, and all new tie rod ends on it.

About 2 months down the road I put it in 4 wheel drive and it did not click in.  I took i to ford and found that someone didnt want to properly change one of the fuse panels to they bypassed a bad fuse slot by disconnecting the power supply line for the 4 wheel drive control module and wired in a new fuel pump relay.  So I paid Ford to fix it.  Well the inspection was up and needed done, so I put new tires on it and took it for inspection.  Everything passed with the exception for the large holes in the frame!!

When I purchased the vehicle, they told me it was sold AS IS and I was fine with that.  Before agreeing to make the purchase I asked if the frame was damaged or if the car was in any accidents.  The Car fax report showed nothing to be concerned with and they dealer (JIM my sales Manager) said there was nothing like that and then pointed out the fact the inspection was new.  I confirmed and made the purchase.  When we were filling out the paperwork, there is a space on the paperwork that also covered this question.  Next to this they checked YES instead of the NO box.  I said wait a minute, you said there is nothing like that wrong.  Jim informed me that there was not, and that because the vehicle was over 10 years old, they had to check the YES box.  I understood and continued with the purchase.

When I found out about the holes in the frame and the fact that they could not be fixed and the vehicle was not inspectable, I contacted the dealer.  I leaft 3 messages for my Sales Rep, JIM, and another 3 messages to the owner.  All 6 calls went with no return call.  So I followed up with a certified letter.  That got their attention.  I had a return call from someone identifying themselves as Bucky informing me he received my letter and that I could take that letter and my truck and shove them both up my a**.  I called back and asked for the owner and got transfered back to the same person who called me a number of select names and told me to go f*** myself and hung up.  I called back a few days later and asked to speak with the owner and some girl answered.  They asked with the issue was and they told me that I am just a low life peice of crap and I could not afford the vehicle because I was late on a number of my payments.  Very professional bunch of people.

I filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the business responded with the fact they told me about the frame issue.  I am filing against them in court now.  So good luck with these people.  I paid $4,000 for a vehicle which would not be repaired for under $5,000 additional and the vehicle was only worth $3600 when I bought it.

You Agreed To It!

You freely stated here YOU agreed to the sale when the "yes" box was checked. Secondly, you agreed to an "as is" purchase! That contract wasn't an excercise for the fingers. It is a legal and binding document which they will use as their defense. By the way, they are "BRAKES" and don't bother saying it, I'll tell you ahead of time. I don't work for them!
