We had a Lenovo laptop (Which BTW I have been a Lenovo customer since I was a kid) under warranty, The unit had an issue where it was smoking and smelled of burnt wires, They keyboard area was hot to the touch all implying a fire of sorts inside, Lenovo safety team sent a pre paid label to send the device in for repair or replace, it was sent back to Lenovo.  No one realized it at the time but Lenovo RE used a label, creating confusion with the carrier.  Lenovo at this point admits they got the device, and told me a tech found the issue but they were replacing it.

not long after They changed the story completely and said they "never got it" (guess the tech was looking at the wall and pretended it was my laptop) and since they never got it (mind you tracking shows delivered) they need an Invoice and a carrier drop off slip (AKA we messed up time to stall) I submitted all of this and they stopped responding (egg on their faces) I call and get different managers and they finally broke down and said "we wont be replacing it"  so now they wont even send my broken one back, this is theft as well as warranty fraud at its finest!!!!
