Revised agreement for 3 years
Original Agreement for two years

On November 22, 2021, I purchased a full page plus a complimentary Back Outside Cover ad for my real estate business that was to be in the quarterly magazine sent to property owners in Golf Club at Chaparral PInes , The Rim Golf Club, Payson Golf Club, Agave Highlands, Sedona Golf Resort.   I was told on May 10 that the magazine went out two weeks ago for the Spring Edition.  That would have been about April 25.  On July 21, I was told that the first issued in 2022 went out in February, so I would be eligible for a refund after August.  It was orinally a 2 year agreement and because it "supposedly" did not go out until Feb, they changed it to a 3 year agreement.

I have two copies with my ad.  I changed companies in March,  and the two copies I have each show my different company information.  However, neitther issue show an issue date or for which quarter it is for.  Also, neither shows any information about the publisher at all.  Both issues are exactly the same.  All advertisers are national brands except mine.  A bit suspect.

My contract states "The Luxurious Life Magazine Guarantees 2 closings within the first 6 months or client revies a full refund."

I have called several times.  Left messages and have emailed.  My calls are no longer returned and emails are no longer replied to.  Obviously, I have not had any leads let alone a closing from this advertisement.

Beware as I have nothing except a copy of a media kit "sample magazine.  Not sure if they are real or not, but appears I wasted $2,400.

I joined Luxurious Life Magazine in December 2021 and was thrilled because of the opportunity they presented me with. Fortunately for me/unfortunately for her, their Exclusive Realtor was just admitted to Hospice so it opened a huge door for me... Or so I was convinced. Shame on Heather Murphy (rep) for using something like that to con me into upgrading my commitment to their publication. Heather talked me into being their Exclusive Realtor for 5 Golf Clubs in Jacksonville/St. Augustine, FL and sweetened the deal with 5 more Yacht Clubs in the area. Oh and gave all kinds of extra perks I'll mention in a moment. The deal was incredible!!!! Heather kept saying it sounds too good to be true but I promise Sweetie, I wouldn't lie to you, I swear on my mother who just passed away this is a great company and an incredible deal. Truly once in a lifetime! This never happens, I can't believe this just happened, wow this is such an opportunity. And she continued on and on. The original sale was for 1 year, complimentary 1/2 page with Bio. Then Heather sold me a sad story about the lady in Hospice and increased the pitch to include a complimentary page Back Outside Cover, Upgrade to Full Page Position page 1, 3 years for the price of 1 AND added 5 Yacht Clubs. I paid them $5,900 for this deal and was guaranteed I would not be charged again. Oh, there is also one important detail on the Order sheet. It reads: The Luxurious Life Magazine Guarantees 2 closings within the first 6 months or client receives a full refund. I have contacted Heather and Luxurious Life magazine several times regarding that refund and I was never connected with anyone, gotten follow up or refunded. I was also promised by Heather Murphy a list of the contacts so I could continue my touches. Never received a follow up on this. Then, October 15, 2022 I received an Unauthorized bill for $2,500! I called the number listed on the Bank of America charge and the assistant that I contacted tried to connect me to her boss. Her name is Nicole and I have been in contact with her ever since to get her 'Boss' Alan to follow up with me. She stated Alan was in charge of refunds but he has been zero help. Nicole also said she'd contact Heather to 'further the process since she knows the order personally' and still nothing. I've called Heather and she plays the Clueless card. When Alan contacted me on Oct. 24, 2022 he texted "I understand there was an issue with your order. We're here to help you with that. I'm gonna have everything reversed and I'm sorry to happen to begin with..." On the 25th he texted 'I will forward the info'. On Nov 21, 2021 we texted again and I reminded him of the unauthorized charge, nothing being corrected nor correspondence from the company, the full refund for the 6 months and the later $2,500 charge. He texted me back with 'I've been working on this my records indicate we sent a request for a refund allow me to continue.' On Nov 30, 2022 he texted 'We've been communicating with the bank sorry for the delay.' Since then I've tried texting and calling several times and I still haven't hear back.. Today is Tue January 3, 2023. I'm looking for solutions. I'm looking for any resolution. I want my money back and I want this company to right their wrongs. This is bad business and I've giving them a year to correct this with no resolve. The Better Business will be notified.
