The only negative item about Magnum LTL is that the recruiter informed me all drop and hooks were PAID at 10.00 a piece, adding fuel was paid at 10.00 and in almost 6 months I did over a hundred drop and hooks and never got paid for one. I started in March 2022, was running from Willmar MN to Sioux Falls, about 300 miles a night. I did have an accident was ruled not my fault. After another driver quit, I was running from Willmar to Coon Rapids once or twice a night, monday to friday. In July my run was switched to Willmar to Fargo ND. 360 miles a night. I really enjoyed the Fargo run. Drove a 2023 Volvo nice truck. Not seeing my payroll list so when I requested it it only showed 10.00 a night, except the inital hook, then drop and hook in Fargo along with fueling in the Fargo terminal and dropping back at Willmar again should have been $30.00 per night. After a email discussion with Mark Heining, the leader in Coon Rapids, he informed me I was mistaken and the drop and hook in Fargo was not to be paid along with the inital hook and drop back at Willmar.
They are advertisinf for a linehaul driver in Willmar with the pay $90,000.00 per year. I would have made about 35,000 if I had stayed the entire year. Every driving job is advertised as $90,000.00 per year.
Many people work for Magnum, the local drivers are paid by the hour, but the linehaul drivers have to wait 1 hour before the compensation begins. I really enjoyed working there, but I needed to be paid what was promised.

I may have been too negative on reporting this, but the facts remain. They still advertise on Drivemagnum.com for a linehaul driver in Willmar so I texted the terminal manager about it and was first informed ok, but after a few minutes he said I could not return, I'm guessing this was after talking to Mark Heining the regional manager in Coon Rapids MN. So my beef is with Mark. Anyway, I wrote a letter to the owner of the company Wayne in Fargo ND, explaining the events and how after Mark was doing my payroll he couldn't explain to me earlier why I was not getting paid for drop and hooks. I still have a positive opinion of Magnum, even though I am not working there.

When I applied to Magnum, the recruiter told me I got paid for drop and hooks. I was told after I questioned it, that the ltl side was mileage only. So they are not getting benefit of my labor. I took my paid time off and left. NOT a BAD company, but they are cheap on the linehaul driver's wages.
