Ripoff Report REVIEW / MyComputerCareer Commitment to Customer Satisfaction

MyComputerCareer joins Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation & Customer Satisfaction Program -- a long name for a program that does a lot for both consumers and business alike.

Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation & Customer Satisfaction Program -- a program that benefits the consumer, which helps to increase consumer satisfaction and confidence when doing business with a member business Verified By Ripoff Report.

When a company or individual joins the Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Program, they must make a commitment to us – in writing – to 'do whatever it takes to make things right with their customers.' What does that mean? It means that Rip-off Report expects that members of our Corporate Advocacy Program will review and respond to ALL customer complaints promptly. It means that every complaint will be taken seriously and every customer will be treated fairly and with respect. It means if a customer did not receive what they expected, the company will work with that customer to fix the issue. It means that if a customer requests a refund and if there is any reasonable basis for that request, we expect the customer will be given a prompt refund (some refund requests may not be reasonable, so this does not mean a refund is guaranteed in every case). “Making things right” can mean lots of different things to different people, but our point is this - by working closely with the company or individual to resolve any disputes, Ripoff Report can track the footprints of customer service to ensure that our Corporate Advocacy Program members are doing everything they can to treat customers fairly and to increase their customer satisfaction.

ALL COMPANIES GET COMPLAINTS, BUT HOW THE COMPANY HANDLES THOSE COMPLAINTS, SEPARATES GOOD BUSINESSES FROM THE REST

MyComputerCareer approached Ripoff Report with the intent of resolving any customer issues and reports posted on Ripoff Report.

As part of the Corporate Advocacy Program the member business allows Ripoff Report to send an email to all of those who have filed complaints, letting the customer know that the member business wants to make things right with them. Ripoff Report always monitors these emails to insure the member business does what they agreed to. The people at MyComputerCareer did just that.

MyComputerCareer has gone to great lengths to make sure they try to resolve any and all customer issues. The company has joined the Corporate Advocacy Program because they want customers to know they will make a good faith effort to resolve any and all customer issues. They never want their customers to feel like they weren’t taken care of. MyComputerCareer has stated “We are dedicated to the success of each and every student. That means an outcome of course completion and job placement in the IT industry. Although it is ultimately the student’s responsibility to complete the requirements of graduation, we will do everything in our power to help them succeed; including unlimited one-on-one tutoring, schedule modification, Test-Pass Assurance, individual job search and interview coaching, and Lifetime Career Services support.”

MYCOMPUTERCAREER CONTINUES TO CLARIFY WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY CAN DO FOR CLIENTS

"MyComputerCareer is a nationally accredited IT school that focuses on the key certification career starters need to start and grow in successful careers in the Information Technology (computer) industry. Founded in Raleigh, NC in 2008, the company has rapidly expanded into five major US markets, secured full accreditation, and enjoys an outstanding reputation among both students, alumni, and as importantly, employers in each of the markets it serves.

For adult career changers who don’t have the luxury or time and financial resources to go back to school for 2 to 6 years facing the expense, potential debt, and often, the failure to find employment in the field studied, MyComputerCareer offers a proven alternative to those seeking a career in the lucrative and dynamic computer industry.”

WHY MYCOMPUTERCAREER IS BETTER THAN THEIR COMPETITORS

"Unlike many career schools, MyComputerCareer focuses from day one, on the primary outcome students seek—employment in the IT industry. Most schools will not help students find employment until after they graduate; And for good reason; often those students tend to drop their education after gaining employment. That can cost the school money and threaten their accreditation. But MyComputerCareer takes that risk in the interest of the student, working on-the-job experience into their education and career preparation to produce a better qualified graduate who is able to secure more advanced positions and move up faster in his or her career. MyComputerCareer also offers LIFETIME Career Services and access to the school’s exclusive network of IT employers throughout their career providing a ready path to advancement and the security of long-term employment. Every graduate who continues to work with us should continue to work in IT.”

MyComputerCareer / Statements from the owner.

"My name is Tony Galati and I am the founder and principal owner of MyComputerCareer. I decided to open MyComputerCareer after working as an IT trainer for major US training companies for over 15 years. Too often, I saw students complete their training, but not get the certifications they were prepared for. Worse, I saw too many that got the education, but never got the job. Others dropped out because the training was too long, inconveniently scheduled, too difficult, or lacking in the kind of one-on-one support they needed to be successful. I knew we could do better.

MyComputerCareer was founded to resolve the barriers of time and money for adult career changers, and provide a rapid pathway to mid and high-level positions in the IT industry. Our track record of growth, but more importantly, students now pursuing successful careers in IT says that we’re succeeding. This year (August 2014) already over 600 lives have been dramatically changed as students have moved from no employment or underemployment into successful, well-paid IT positions with bright prospects for future advancement.

That’s not to say we’re perfect! Be we are striving every day to continually improve our programs and our performance to give every student the best possible education experience, and the best possible shot at a great new life as an Information Technology Professional. If you’d like to see if a career in computers could be right for you, too, why not take our FREE Career Evaluation online at www.mycomputercareer.edu? I’d love to see you on one of our campuses soon!”

QUALITY TRAINING

"At MyComputerCareer we provide our students with the right training and the right certifications to make them highly employable in the field of Information Technology. We partner with industry leaders like Microsoft and CompTIA and hire only seasoned IT professionals as expert instructors to prepare our students for real life on the job. And as far as we know, only MyComputerCareer offers Lifetime Career Services in our market areas, to help our students get not only their first IT position, but to move up in the industry as far and as fast as they want to go. Our networks of hundreds of IT employers in each market provides them an outstanding opportunity for a great job with an excellent employer in record time.”

ANY BUSINESS THAT CAN ADMIT THEY MADE MISTAKES AND CORRECTS THOSE MISTAKES IS A BUSINESS YOU CAN TRUST AND WORTH DOING BUSINESS WITH .

As stated above, MyComputerCareer is committed to 100% customer satisfaction and has made every possible effort to ensure that all customers have a positive experience while at their schools.

After speaking with the management at MyComputerCareer and emailing anyone who has filed a complaint in the past, Ripoff Report is proud to give MyComputerCareer a positive Rating. MyComputerCareer made efforts to ensure that all customers were satisfied and Tony Galati has assured Ripoff Report that the business has an improved business model that features customer satisfaction as the top priority.

Tony Galati, the owner of MyComputerCareer, stated “We strive to solve all student concerns before they become major issues. That’s why we’ve instituted our 'Dear Tony' program. Students can actually email me directly about problems or issues that they can’t address or don’t feel are being adequately addressed by the on-campus personnel. I personally read and reply to all of these messages and where appropriate, intervene to make sure appropriate action is taken immediately to resolve the concern.

It goes without saying that our satisfied and successful career students are our best ambassadors, both within the industry and in the community as a whole. We will always carefully consider all customer complaints as constructive criticism and use them as tools to improve our student satisfaction.”

STATED IMPROVEMENTS FROM MYCOMPUTERCAREER.

"As a regulated and accredited institution, registered and certified with all the states in which we operate, MyComputerCareer is required to meet rigorous uniform mandates and standards related to student withdrawals, refunds, response to complaints, etc. Our policy, however, is not merely to comply with regulatory mandates, but to resolve issues and ensure successful student outcomes wherever possible. These solutions may include changing schedules or extending the student’s enrollment. It may accommodate leaves of absence or increasing one-on-one tutoring. Whatever we can do, we will do to help out students overcome obstacles and fulfill the objectives of their enrollment.

MyComputerCareer solicits feedback and student evaluations in every course with every instructor at multiple touch points throughout the curriculum providing the students the ability to provide anonymous feedback throughout their tenure as a student. Instructors, financial aid advisors, admissions personnel, Career Services Directors, and Campus Directors are required to maintain an “open door” policy inviting and encouraging student feedback, compliments, or complaints at any point, and these interactions should be treated with the highest respect and priority. The aforementioned “Dear Tony” web page is a relatively new innovation that provides a backstop to insure that if there’s a problem that isn’t being adequately addressed by the on-campus personnel, students have direct access to the institution’s top officer to have their concerns heard and addressed.

While MyComputerCareer is legally prohibited from making any guarantees, claims, or promises related to specific education outcomes, we do, as a matter of policy and personal commitment, make every effort to exceed students’ expectations related to the quality of the education and career preparation they experience at our school.”

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR IN THE INDUSTRY

"Because the education industry is heavily regulated, students can expect an adequate education experience from most accredited career schools and colleges. Non-accredited or unregulated schools, however, that don’t qualify for federal financial aid programs, should be approached with a strong 'buyer beware’ attitude.

Additionally, most institutions focus on the education itself, with the outcomes related to skill development and employment as an afterthought or secondary benefit. At MyComputerCareer, everything we do is focused on the goal of students achieving a high level of success over a lifetime in the IT industry. We therefore, do more to help make that happen.”
