About a year ago this lady named Nicole Brushel who lives at (((REDACTED))) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Hit and completely destroyed my car that I was driving. And almost killed me and my pregnant wife and 4 year old daughter in the process. When she ran a Stop sign.
I made eye contact with her and she took off not even checking to see if me and my family were okay or even alive. The only reason I was even able to track her down was because she hit my car with such force that her front license plate fell off. She disappeared and the next morning reported her car stolen to the police.
I had to wait nearly three weeks for the police report. And when I finally received it I looked up her name and instantly recognized her as the person who hit my vehicle and took off. I went to the police station and told them this and they did nothing about it. So I asked to speak to a captain and he agreed to look into it.
He called me back and told me she’s already been arrested before for OWI. And the problem is she has a “witness” her boyfriend. I told him their lying, And he said I believe you me and you know 2 and 2 equal 4. But the problem is the District Attorney has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury that she did what she’s accused of and he’s not going to want to take a case. That boils down to your word against there’s. So he couldn’t help me.
She got away with it. I was thinking about taking her to court and trying to win a civil judgment against her. But was unsure if I’d be able to collect even if I would win. So I looked her up again and saw Apparently she’s the Event coordinator for The Milwaukee Public Museum.
And get this she was arrested once again in January for OWI. If you want to be a drunk or a drug addict your whole life that’s fine. But please stop endangering the lives of people who care about their life’s and that have families. Your reckless actions cost us thousands financially and could of cost us are lives. I’m glad your in the House of Corrections. You should consider yourself lucky it was only for 45 days. You deserve much longer.
