Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was bait and switch scammed by ocen honnda Burlingame I was trying to help people make informed decisions regarding this crook dearship steling your hard working money . be cautious not to do bussines with Honda in general I'm deeply dissatisfied with my recent encounter at Ocean Honda in Burlingame. Throughout my interactions with Niko and the sales manager, Billy, I encountered manipulative behavior regarding the withholding of my 2021 Venza key, done without any valid explanation. Despite my repeated requests for its return, they obstinately refused to comply. Additionally, they significantly undervalued my vehicle by $3210, resulting in a substantial loss. This discrepancy became evident when I reviewed my contract with a reputable trade-in dealer. Initially, Niko and Billy appeared welcoming and enthusiastic about earning my business. However, it became apparent that their intentions were to exploit my financial situation. I find their actions unethical and deceptive. Consequently, I feel compelled to lodge a formal complaint with the FTC and explore legal avenues to address their behavior. Furthermore, when I requested the return of my old car keys, the manager callously declined. My initial visit to the dealership was for inquiries only, not to make a purchase. Despite CarMax appraising my car at nearly $28k, rmc motors in san Bruno offered me 28 k and one Toyota Oakland offered me 27k . Ocean Honda's trade-in offer was a mere $500, which is clearly a deceptive practice apart from telling them. I have also talked the general sales manager asking him why you did this he shifted the blame on me like it was my fault . Despite expressing my concerns to the general manager and investing valuable time in discussions, no satisfactory resolution was reached. I have decided to discontinue my support for this dealership and the entire Honda brand, cautioning others against dealing with these dishonest individuals and informing clients and families about what transpired. It is outrageous that they even had the audacity to demand a 5-star rating from me after taking advantage of me financially. Ocean Honda's actions reflect a lack of integrity and moral compass. I am currently in contact with my legal representation and will be filing complaints with the FTC and other relevant authorities. This unethical conduct must be exposed to prevent further mistreatment of customers who sustain their business. Unless an apology is issued and the contract is amended to reflect fair terms, I will pursue all available avenues for justice. My primary objective is to receive the appropriate trade-in value for my vehicle. When I questioned the low deal offered, the sales representative attempted to shift the blame by suggesting that CarMax would provide a better offer. However, I have dealt with CarMax previously without encountering such issues. Even Toyota offered a fairer trade-in deal. I urge Ocean Honda to reconsider their business practices and prioritize honesty and fairness in their dealings with customers.

Merchants are not required to observe the market value of merchandise. You learned about American Free Enterprise in eighth-grade civics.

Your dissatisfaction with the trade-in deal is a case of seller’s remorse. Your signature on the contract is evidence that you agreed to the terms. The dealer is not obligated to modify the contract. You have no legal recourse.

Happy motoring!

YOU FULLY ADMITTED here you had an idea they were trying to scam you. What was YOUR response??? YOU REWARDED THEM by giving them the sale! At any point you could have made one final demand for your keys and if they didn't comply, you pick up your phone and CALL THE POLICE! Nope! You gave in. You rolled over and played the role of chump, door mat and sucker to text book accuracy. Now you come here and blame them! What a load of BS when it was 100% YOU who could have avoided this. Who could have avoided this??? YOU COULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS!!!!! Everybody knows the Sleazy American Car Business has earned their putrid reputation. They continue pulling their tricks because they know for a fact, there are people like you with no backbone! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!
