Complaint Review: Perez Mayoral P.A. - West Palm Beach Florida

I/We hired Michael Mayoral with Perez Mayoral P.A. almost a year and half ago for a rediculous frivolous suite filed against us from a former customer in regards to air conditioner dispute that is filed aginst myself personally and business. Spoke with Michael to see if we were the right fit and if he had the capabilites and certifications to take on our case in which he explained he did. (That was far from the case). Here we stand almost a year and half later the case is still strangely dragging on through the courts (because Michael wanted it to so he can get paid more) with no ending in sight and my personal name is still on the case again strangely enough even after stating to get it removed immediately theres no grounds, to file for a discovery and hearing on that matter so im not dead locked with loans. Michael has evaded that subject for quite a while now and proceeded to file counter suite with no mediation or intention of quick resolution. As time went on Michael would wait for the opposing party to file a motion just so he can file a counter motion and just eating up time and un believable amount of money with the court. After a while Michael was becoming distant with the case and myself and very negligent to the extreme it was causing me substantial monetary damages. I/We were ordered to compel $300 because Michael did not answer opposing counsel in time for deposition and did not even bother to file a motion till same day after we got compeled? Upon entering the hearing in regards to this matter as ordered by the judge, Michael was a coward he just agreed with opposing counsel stating " we filed for extension of time but other party is right we did not follow up and they were right my client does technically have to drive 4 hours away but judge you should re consider"? What am i paying an attorney for to just go into the court and purposely lose??? Upon that $300 Michael states to have the payment made to opposing counsel's attorney personally and mail to her office. So i do as such, about a week later i receive a forwarded email from Michael from opposing counsel to re send yet another check for same amount $300 make it out to plantiff as ordered by the judge... what about my other $300 check??? Now Michael almost completely stops answering me after several calls to his cell, office and emails but rather has his "partner" Alejandro reach out to me. Who is Alejandro? is he even a licensed attorney? Michael firm does not even know who he is. I did not consent nor authorize him to my case i hired Michael where did this guy come from? Well upon speaking with Alejandro now the night before the re scheduled depositon 6:00pm literally night before he states "Michael is in trial all week and i will be handling the case till his return". Well what about my deposition the next morning? how do you plan on handling that? Alejandro states we will file for santions being there is a state of emergency ordered by the governor it will defintely get accepted he cant deny it... well guess what, our file for sanctions was neither approved nor denied but rather ignored and opposing counsel filed for yet another $200 to be paid to her for filing sanctions too late being Alejandro filed it 2:52AM same morning for deposition. I called Michael immediately as usual no response and emailed him what does he plan on doing about this? I am not paying that fine for Michael purpose negligenance. As always no response. I have since hired another attorney to represent myself and business for this matter because of Michael purposely deceiving me, his negligence and just extorting me for money just like the opposing party is doing. I am very very disappoited with Michael and his firm have they have me so far behind the 8 ball for no reason this could have been avoided, apparently after investigating i am not the only one having this problem with him and firm there is a pending lawsuite for over "$100,000" against Michael personally and his firm i could only imagine why...would not recommend them to noone. beyond bias.
