Derek Price of Priceless Construction/Waterproofing hired to perform full demo and rebuild with waterproofing basement. Paid $2000 on 6/5/24 upfront/cash immediately after signing the contract to "lock-in" job. Started work 6/8/24 Paid $5000 CASH. Inspection of progress with both parties present on 6/17/24 in the evening. Email correspondence sent by me the next day outlining incompletion of work sent as Derek Price asked for/wanted the remaining balance prior to finishing the job. Last email sent by me to Derek Price/Owner on 6/20/24 giving him the requested dates of entry to complete the job. No reply-No call-No text from Priceless Construction since 6/20/24.   Job is NOT complete and the work that was performed was sloppy, subpar & unprofessional. The house cannot be habited as the company removed all access to water usage. Hot water heater has been placed on steps of basement since 6/13/24.   This was written as a 5–6-day job: 6/8/24 1st day/Start 6/9/24 Half Day/Done @ 1:00 6/10/24 No work 6/11/24-6/13/24 Half Day/Done @ 1:00 6/14 No work 6/15 No work 6/16 No work   6/17 Inspection prior to painting with waterproof paint.   The owner of this company is not honest or ethical. I was given empty promises (lies) in order to sway me to sign the contract. "Guaranteeing my satisfaction" Job was not performed as described it would be during estimate. Company knocked out the window to make the demo process easier for them with the assurance that a colleague would replace when complete. They installed the French drain and sump pump hole in opposite corners when I was told that they would be in the same corner to conserve space. Damage was done to the existing pipes as they are now being held by tape to the ceiling and electrical box frame was damaged during initial excavation.   Derek Price/Owner was rarely present during construction. He sub-contracts with various workers (or guys as he calls them) that could care less about their quality of work or my son's home. His team left trash, debris and Newport cigarette butts.   As of today, 7/3/24, I have not heard from the owner of this company since 6/20/24. No call. No text. No show. His last text was, "We go to court No problem"    -Demo incomplete with random areas not removed. Basement sink left in living room area. -Water puddling due to the unleveled sloped floor  -Walls & Floor are incomplete with large defects and various areas not cemented with random bald spots exposing the foundational brick.  -Paint on-site was not waterproof paint as contractually stated -Hot water heater was placed on the steps of the basement & never reattached  -Sump Pump never installed-there is a large empty hole in the floor  -Existing pipes damaged -Electrical box structure damaged -No window leaving the house susceptible for a break-in   I spoke with the Attorney General's office today (7/3/21) and was informed that Priceless General Contractors (Owner Derek Price) business registration EXPIRED on 9/21/2023.
