I believe that (Chris) Christoper Goettsche did his best to defraud me out of several thousand dollars. He was not successful because I simply would not give him money. I believe Chris got my name from a legitimate Casting Director, who had asked me to do something on a show named Lizard Lick Towing. I was too busy to do the part and so I handed it off to my son. My son was working on his Physics Degree finals at NC State University so he turned it down. The next call I got was from Chris. He said that he was interested in doing a TV series on the investigations I had done over the last forty years. I told him I was busy, but he insisted that his guy Don Sahan could take my information and put everything together. He said he would do a sizzel reel and pitch it to forty TV Networks. He later called and told me that he had pitched my stories to the Networks and three of them wanted it Netflix, Discovery Channel and the History Channel. He asked me to sign a contract that included an area that I could agree to where I would invest several thousand dollars to become a producer and share in decision making and the profit. I was unsure of Chris and his organization because I could not find any TV productions that he had done, so I said no to the investment. He told me that was okay, and I never heard from him again. I put a bad review on Yelp for Rugged Productions and had several people call me that read it, who told me they lost from six thousand to thirty thousand dollars in initial investments. Some lost a lot more as they continued to give money to Chris to keep the so-called  production people working on their TV series. Of all the people who called me not one had a production completed and of course as I continue to watch for anything he has done and have found nothing as of 07/29/2020. I believe this is all fraud, but of course it will be up to the F.B.I. to uncover the details. The F.B.I. has been called by me twice and apparently by the victims and they so far have done N-o-t-h-i-n-g. Shame Shame Shame on you.

I forgot to mention the Intern. When she came to my office she seems to be intimidated and that was another red flag for me and why I did not give Chris Goettsche any money. I searched and found her. She told me he just dissappeared on her and didn't pay her. I informed her not to use him on her resume so that her reputation in the business isn't ruined. Watch out Intern, camera operator and producer assistant, you will not likely get paid and you might end up in the steel bars motel.

In my opinion many people have been victimized by this scam. I had a very similar experience. Many promises made, paid this guy a lot of money and he disappeared. Only after multiple calls and emails would he respond with excuse after excuse. Two years later and still no finished product. In my opinion all they want is the MONEY. There are MANY victims out there including the unwitting interns facilitating this.
