Skinny Me Chocolate FALSE ADVERTISING! This company has a ton of Facebook ads. You believe you are trying a box of chocolates for $4.95 shipping and handling ONLY. Their website tryskinnymechocolate.com has you go through 3 pages of info all teasing you to get their FREE TRIAL for only shipping for $4.95. Knightdale NC
Requested a sample that I was to pay shipping only of $4.95. Cost of the product was $0 according to the order confirmation. Today I see another charge for $34.95 on my charge card. I called and was told there was a statement on the web site that said if thje customer did not call in after receipt of the sample to cancel they would charge the card $34.95 plus I already paid $4.95 for shipping so total payment for the sample ends up being $39.90. 13.76 oz package for this price is robbery without a weapon.
I told them to keep the $4.95 shipping I paid with the sample order and keep the $34.99 that was charged on my card. I will not be buying anything ever again from Skinny Me!
