My TX drivers was about to expire so in January 2022 I was introduced to StateDLS.org, this website claimed to be a one stop shop for your license renewal. Here I was provided a TX drivers license renewal application, which I filled out, the website would foward my application, collect the necessary fee, my renewed license would arrive in the mail. This never happened.
4 month has passed, my new license had not arrived so on 4-14-2022 I went to the DMV to check on the status of my new license, in the TX DMV database nothing showed up regarding my license renewal.
Went home looked up StateDLS.org, their website was totally changed, now every page had a disclaimer claiming they were "not owned or operated by any state government".
They must have scammed a number of people and people were upset. StateDLS made their site look like a State operated site when in fact they were scamming the public.
