Hoon Lim bragging about easy money to his colleage
Fraud Complaint

Synergy Integrated Health was offering a free public educational course in Neuropathy.  The entire course was a confidence builder in Dr. Hoon Lim's ability versus other mainstream medical providers.  The course also consisted of Mainstream Medical "bashing" and instilled the fear factor in showing pictures of mainstream medical doctors and "big pharma."

They, Dr. and Staffers,  then offered to diagnose anyone with concerns and most people were diagnosed with neuropathy which is a numbness or tingling of the extremities.  Such a diagnoses then led to Dr. Hoon Lim's exclamation that "I'm so glad you came and we were able to catch this."  He had many pictures and diagrams thoughout his office showing examples of amputions and statitistics showing that "most persons who get amputated die within 2 years."

They agreed to take my Anthem Blue Cross and Medicare (all the while knowing that they did not plan to utilize these things, mainly just a ruse or to verify identity) Then made an estimate to treat my condition with diet and Chiropractic Adjustments totalling over $13,000.  They, office staff, also ran credit and opened up a credit line "in case I needed it" meaning that they were going to bill Anthem Blue cross and/or Medicare advantage 1st.

What they did in fact was to just open a credit line and then get themselves paid over $13,000.  They never billed Anthem Blue cross or Medicare Advantage.  (why, see below)

It is a crime to diagnose and prescribe DME or diet products that are not necessary under Medicare.  So, they did not ever actually bill Medicare.

I returned the "products" that they shipped to be but of course,  they now take the moral high ground saying that they cannot re-issue these to another patient.  The prices are outrageous at $5,000, and that is another problem here, they don't advise that you can get generic and in fact insist that these things are the only ones on the planet that will save you.

I have also since found out that I do not have diabetic neuropathy.  They did not properly diagnose as no blood test was ever done or a review of actual medical records to show neuropathy, the type that is at risk of amputation.

Once I learned this I tried to rescind this agreement but alas, the finance company claims that the "merchant" he is now classified as a merchant, put in these charges and I have to go to him.  I finally was able to get into his office and he said with a grin "YOU SIGN!" "YOU MAKE CONTRACT!"   (I heard him say to his staffers "I am good salesman!"

At that time, he wanted over $6,000 to cancel when all I really did was go for 5 useless chiropractic adjustments.
