I found Tom's on Craigslist. They offered an $88 special per system for unlimited duct cleaning. They showed up and wanted $3600! I told them I had a quote for $800. We went back and forth and settled at $780 Cash Money only. While I was at the bank getting the money, they not only stepped through my ceiling in two places, but managed to crack/destroy two fancy storage boxes that I guess they attempted to use to reach the high celings.
Accidents happen, but you don't grab the money, not do the job correctly and NOT tell the homeowner you damaged their property. In trying to call their 888 number, I was put on hold forever, then told they would get a handyman to fix it, then not answer my calls. I used another phone number and got right through and then the run around again.
I had to hire someone to fix this and repaint the ceiling--more than the cost of the poor duct cleaning job. They spent 30 minutes so clearly not a good job considering I have a large home. Stay away from these guys. Total scamsters looking to take advantage of people. I should have realized with a toll free number that these people were not local or legit.
Homeowners beware.
