EDitors NOTE: The report below was found to be false. The Author responded with some claim that someone broke into his laptop and posted all these statements that he had no knowledge of who did it or why!. Rip-off Report contacted all possible avenues related both to the TrustedTradition's business and John Markis personally. Ripoff Report found everything to be in perfect good standing with the State of Florida, BBB, EBay, the Internet in general and Dealers associated with long standing relations and experiences with Trusted Traditions.com and John Markis. The charges made below are ridiculous and made with alternate motives and intent. Again, the reports posted were all created by the same person using three or four different AOL email addresses similar in nature, with basically the same physical address also similar in nature. Rip-off Report does not condone this kind of behavior. Rip-off Report has confirmed, TrustedTraditions.com is a good honest business, and is now a Rip-off Report Verified safe business.. A business you can trust. Anyone that has an issue with any member of Rip-off Report Corporate Advocacy Program should contact Rip-off Report.

=================================

This business is and has been working with another ponzi scheme operator Arcade Currency Palace. They both ripped off the CPA of Arcade Currency Palace. John Markis not his true name is a former federal bureau of prison inmate who now uses the first three and last three letters of his true name to hide his conviction for financil crimes. Just go the to BOP priosn site and type in his real name highlighted above. The owner of Trusted Traditions John markis will lie and provide false sworn information on others to have them arrested.

The guy like Sandikci preys on the widowed and elderly with false promise of returns on the collecable currency they sell. Just go to www.keycurrency.com and click on bad grade link and see SOME evidence for yourself.

This guy is a LIAR and will do anything to push his agenda, even lie to police and government officials. Sandikci and Markis lie so much they have a hard time keeping up with what they said in the past lies. However, there are people out there that do keep up with and document their lies. I have this feeling their scams will end real soon and I do real soon with a heavy regulations on their scam buisnesses coming soon.

I know there is a time gap between the original post and mine, but i would just like to express what a pleasure it was to meet John Markis at the 2013 Worlds Fair of Money in Chicago. I met him just walking by the booths and he took the time to talk and explain how currency collecting works. The second day I was there John remembered my name and was interested in the auctions that I won. The guy in the post above (Joesph) doesn't know what hes talking about. John has paved my way as a currency collector! Thanks John

I believe the problem with this company is the owner lied about his true identity which raises red flags. Further it is obvious based upon my search that the guy was in federal prison. He has lawsuits against him in Broward County Florida, The Federal Court for hiding assets for someone who filed bankruptcy. The lawyer who posted positive comments is more than likely the one who was paid big money to represent this guy in his federal criminal case. Get real if you have nothing to hide then why conceal your identity Mr. Markis aka real name John Maragoudakis????

I was very surprised to read the negative comments on John Markis/Trusted Traditions. I am a retired attorney and currency/coin collector. I had extensive dealings with John Markis and Trusted Traditions, mainly as a buyer, but also numerous sales and even several trades. I always found him great to deal with, honest, attentive and when I sold, I made very attractive profits. I tend to greatly discount anything that suggests a contrary opinion of him. I have never met John--only dealt with him by phone or EBAY. I NEVER had anything but a pleasant experience.

The guy is a rip off artist and ex-con there should not be a need to say anymore. Especially if you talk with NON dealers and talk with actual customers of Markis who have sold to him. You will also find Markis loves to play a game of manipulation to beat clients out of the true value of the currency when they seek to sell. The first response and comment filed by a VERY close freind and associate of Markis should be ignored. FACTs MARKIS is an ex-con and former federal prisoner with convictions for financial crimes. A search on the federal bureau of prisons website will confirm his incarceration. Once a crook always a crook as statistics prove.

The comment posted about how honest John Markis may be is a joke. The guy has done time in federal prison. He is a crook, I have done business with him. He is a scam artist and a liar. Markis will committ perjury like his dear friend Ahmet Sandikci of Arcade Currency Palace. If the guy is so honest why does he hide his true identity? NEED I SAY MORE about these crooks.

I have done business with John Markis for years....

I have known John Markis for over 10 years. He is one of the most honorable people I have ever dealt with. He has been fair, and when I decided I did not want to keep items I had purchased from him, he gave me my money back immediately. I believe the man who wrote this report has a problem with John Markis that transcends the business arena. In fact, he never stated that he did business with him. Isn't that the first prerequisite to judging a man's character in business? I am very leary of this report, and really would like to know what kind of transaction the person who filed the rip off report has had with Mr. Markis. I don't see why, merely because a man shorten's his name for business purposes, i.e. easier to pronounce etc., he should be castigated for that. Let's hear about a verifiable transaction that was done that was a rip off. Frankly, I am surprised this jibberish got published.
