I had a terrible experience with Wayfair. I ordered a outdoor table but received chairs instead. To make matters worse, when I contacted customer service, they initially refused to process a return. Claiming the right item was sent. It took multiple calls and a lot of persistence on my part to finally get them to agree to take back the incorrect item. It was incredibly frustrating to deal with their unhelpful and dismissive attitude.

 

On top of that, I had already paid a handyman twice: once to assemble the chairs (thinking they were the correct order) and then again to disassemble them after realizing the mistake. I also had to go find boxes to fit the chairs, which was an additional hassle and expense.

 

This experience was a waste of time and money.  I was left without the table I originally wanted. I'm very disappointed with the lack of accountability and poor customer service. I expected better customer service and a more straightforward process for correcting their mistake. I won't be shopping with Wayfair again and would advise others to be cautious.
