Have you ever met a discouraging coach before? That's what happened to us at "My Tennis Academy" school at 200 Turf Club Road, #01-63, Singapore, 287994.
After some research on Internet I decided to sign up my child to "My Tennis Academy" because it was close to place we live. My kid was excited to go to Yu Shao Hung coach at first but after 5 lessons we change this coach and his school and went to another place.
It took me 5 lessons to see that Mr. Yu Shao Hung was acting little strange around kids. Then, it became obvious this coach had some serious anger management issues. On 4th lesson I spotted him to be rude to some of the parents. No wonder, his school doesn't have many students. On 5th lesson Yu Shao Hung said my kid was lazy and unwilling to fallow his orders...
Coach Yu, what do you expect from your students when you criticize them most of the time during training session? Is that how you bring up real athletes in Taiwan?
From my observation, Yu Shao Hang has very poor communication skills and not professional as a coach. I am wondering if this guy even licensed to teach?
I have one question to parents who are reading my message here: "Is it OK when coach goes behind children, stays VERY CLOSE and touches them while teaching how to hold a tennis racquet properly?
I will definitely file a complaint to Singapore's Private Council of Education to let them know about Mr. Yu Shao Hung local activity, so they can investigate him and his teaching methods very close as well.
The bottom line, never blindly selec a coach for your child based on your location.
