I was contacted by this company. I was told the same thing great all inclusive trip packages, all they needed was my credit card for confirmation on the complimentary rent a car. Reluctantly I gave the #, half way through the conversation I started getting transfer to other agents, finally I said you know what this isn’t for me and I hung up the phone. I then started to get emails that my account was locked and they could not charge me without confirmation. I had replied multiple time that I was uninterested.

Finally I sent them a letter stating I did not confirm or receive anything in regards to the trip except the email that I had NOT confirmed anything. I stated that if they do so go ahead and charge my credit card it would be a fraudulent charge. I was then transfer to Carolyn Grant who came onto the phone with great anger threatening to sue me for slander, fraud, and even perjury. When I said I had not confirmed the trip I was told it didn’t matter they have my credit card number. I never received any emails with log in or account information for there site nothing. I contacted my credit card company and they cancelled my card and are currently investigating the matter. Also Carolyn continued to insult me over the course of the conversation making derogatory remarks, calling me a “stupid Canadian” .

I find the response from the company to show the integrity of the company . I do not think that we who feel ripped off find humor in the “spin of the wheel remark” I know for a fact I did not contact Impress Vacations, they contacted me, I would love to see the “clear online request” I had sent.

Also from the Theresa response “BE FURTHER ADVISED IF YOU YOU ARE NOT A TRUE VERIFIABLE CUSTOMER OF IMPRESS VACATIONS AND YOU POST FALSE, MISLEADING, SLANDEROUS AND/OR DEFAMATORY STATEMENTS ON THIS OR ANY OTHER FORUM, YOU ARE GUILTY OF MALICIOUSLY ATTACKING THE REPUTATION OF IMPRESS VACATIONS BY FALSELY CLAIMING TO BE A CUSTOMER AND YOU WILL FACE LEGAL ACTION!”.

Basically the same threats Carolyn gave me. Well I don’t think the competition is that desperate for business that they would slam another company. And all of us seem to have been through the exact experience with Impress Vacations. So if my credit card finds it was a fraudulent charge does that give me the right to sue for, fraud, identity theft, defamation, pain and suffering for the stress. The fact they make no mention of the 50,000 earnings and tour is also misleading. People have to use 3rd parties in these instances I had tried to have a professional conversation to resolve this with Impress, and they insulted me, cursed at me. Making me believe if I had in fact booked a trip with this company it would have been horrible. How can you have a fun memory filled vacation when this is how it begins?

If anyone does want to do a class action against this company I am sure you will find many to support and join this cause.
