Ok, This is one of the most shadiest companies in existance. I worked there for a week, from about 6:30 in the morning to 7-8 pm at night, I spent over 100 dollars on gas and tolls, and maintenance for my car, because they did not cover any of that. And in the end I made close to nothing. I GOT SUCKERED

INTO WORKING FOR FREE.

on top of that you were supposed to force a product on a custumer at all costs and if you are successful you make out with 30% of whatever you end up taking in for the company. They even make you sign this stupid contract, which i tried to get a copy of, but the manager there whose name is MATT, started yelling at me and sayin how if I dont sign it and get to work right away i might as well leave because people are waiting to get their carpets cleaned. He also strongly encouraged all the people who recieved the contract not to read it, he said it was all a bunch of b** that we wouldnt understand anyway.

I told him i was gonna read it and if i didnt understand it I would take it home, and thats when he started to get irritaded and insulting, he even pretended to call a lawyer which i found funny. The only thing I understood out of it is that I can terminate it at any time, and something about a 40% bond.

The scheme is carpet cleaning, and Duct cleaning. First of all, from what i have learned about this company is that they have no credibility besides their millions of faulty advertisements that claim that you will get your carpets cleaned for 7.95 per room with a 2 room minimum. every one calls in on the coupon. Out of maybe 100 people that call they let you do 2 just to have on the books that sometimes they do the coupon price so it doesnt look like theyre trying to scam people.

This company does not have a website, like a lot of credible companies do, with employees who actually take pride in their work and get paid for it. Also the people dont have any training that work for the company, as far as carpet cleaning goes. and your first day they give you this t-shirt that says the name of the company on it and right under that in big red letters it says certified technichian. When I questioned them about the legitimacy of that, Matt told me that it made the company look good, but wasnt illegal to do. So, theres also a couple million of the duct advertisements floating around in your typical marketeer, value packs.

They also have this phenominal deal for air duct cleaning. anyway, on my first day I was "training" with this guy named chuck, who was a "certified" technician. Instead of an in depth informative training i had imagined, I just watched him write up faulty problems that didnt exist and overprice people over and over again. he would say "you need sanitizer to keep that bacteria out" and never put it in (he showed me what the machine looked like that he used to put in sanitizer earlier). instead of 59.95 for the ducts, like the coupon said, it would exceed 1000 dollars, and of course then the custumer would bargain down back to 500.

when he was "working" he would generally just do nothing and talk on the fone the whole time. He cut a few holes here and there, ran a vaccum hose around for a half hour, and taped the holes back up. I even asked him about it and he was like "wow, i can't believe you noticed that. most people usually don't."I asked him what his problem was and he just told me thats how he works. but he did show me the real way to do it after I had to raise my voice.

In any case I was never going to clean ducts anyway because you need a certification for that, and I didnt have one nor did i wish to go through all the trouble of getting one, and just stick with the carpet cleaning for a week, because i needed the money.

These people would make me drive from trenton, NJ, to bergen county almost every day. I had no control over anything, I couldnt pick the places that I wanted to go, and MATT said that if i complained he would give me the most ** jobs he could find, which in his terms mean the ones which strictly need the coupon price, all over the state of NJ. I almost destroyed my car because of this job. But like I said I needed the money so i worked as hard as I could. at the end of the week I made a total of 1500 dollars for the company.

My check? get ready for this 57.50. for like ** 96 hours of work, and that was because people called for "redo's" on the work that i did. I cant believe that because most people write comments of the work you do on this comment sheet, and if not that then the estimate sheet, and all of my custumers wrote that they were satisfied. I didnt push anything on them that they didnt need, and gave them 110%. every one of them, upon me leaving would leave me with a smile, and give me food and drinks and stuff like that. i don't know, somehow, i dont think that behavior adds up to them calling back and bein like"oh im not happy with what youve done you need to come back and do it again" they never even said anything like that.

this one time an old woman tried to rob me, of my services, because she refused to pay!! When i called matt and told him i was calling the cops HE YELLED AT ME, AND TOLD ME TO LEAVE. I called the police and eventually got that money back, but she threw out the estimate so there was really no record of it, and i could have kept it and said that i just left, instead i decided to be honest and bring it back, and ask if i could borrow it. Matt then told me it was alright if i borrowed it since i worked so hard to get it, and in the end they charged me $50.00 as a fee on top of the 60 i borrowed because apparently there was a loaner fee for borrowing money from the company. No one ever told me about that until like 3 weeks after i quit, and i still havnt gotten those filthy 57 dollars.

oh and another thing, one time i was on the fone with MATT in front of an angry potential custumer, and i said his name in front of the guy, he got angry and told me never to say his name in front of other people ever again. something is definately not right with these people. I never learned his last name either, or any of the people that i worked with even the receptionists.

Now It was my mistake to take this job thinking that i would get paid well for working hard. all I want you people to know, is that supposedly this company is expanding like some sort of a renegade viral infection across the country. Be careful, because you might be next. remember this name 1 NATION RESTORATION

The truth is evidently expressed through the things that this particular person didnt say. The first and most important piece of evidence is that you don't have access to your work files to check up on me unless you are in the office. You should have no reason to be in the office unless you work there to retrieve any information if there even is any. Secondly if I am a convicted criminal then prove it. Maybe you can't because there isn't a record in existance that confirms that in my name. Third basic fact that you should be aware of Dan, is that your manipulation tactics just can't silence multiple complaints against your company, which if I'm not mistaken is under investigation for fraud, and illegal buisiness practices by multiple agencies in more than one state. Unfortunately for you, no matter how many silly lies you tell yourself, the people who are unlucky enough to do buisiness with you, and likewise, those who come to you for employment; the truth will eventually come out, and you will face the consequences. Second order of buisiness. I read your contract a number of times and failed to see anything that suggested any training or classes before work. It was a sub-contract, which basically means that you would not be responsible for anything that I do. Secondly because it was part of my job to have custumers sign a paper indicating their satisfaction, which means that they legally cannot blame me if something goes wrong after the cleaning, those complaints that you speak of do not have anything to do with me. Besides I find it a bit odd that they "surfaced" a month after I left. Most people got what they paid for. I do not benefit from writing this report, but other people might. This is also not the only isolated one, but it is the first. There are class action suits against your company and it's founder which, the last time i checked, was nowhere to be found. So just try to understand, one nation restoration; that your secret is out and no matter how many times you insult my character or try to dismiss people when they are unsatisfied with your faulty service, you still have to pay at the end.

#6UPDATE EX-employee responds

Wed, July 16, 2008

Ok, so I stumbled upon this repprt and I couldn't believe what I was reading. I used to work in the office for this company, and I thought it was important for everone to know the truth about "Micheal". Micheal applied to the company as a carpet cleaner. He had no previous experience, so he had to go through a full training process, which included training classes, written examinations, and a three week apprenticeship. Micheal did complete his training, however, he was not trained on any air duct cleaned and did not apprentice with any air duct cleaners as he stated. After Micheal finished his training he only worked for the company for about a week before he was terminated. In that week he recieved 7 customer complaints, 5 of which the company had to send a different techncian to complete the job that was not completed correctly the first time. Also, let's not forget about that incident with the senior citizen that Micheal claims "tried to rob [him] of his services". The poor lady wa simply elderly, and did not feel that the job was done to her satisfaction. The compant fully stands behind there work, they want all their customer's to be happy. Thus, the reason the manager told Micheal to re-clean her area's of concern. He grew so irate that he had to be told to leave, and the police had to be involved. It was then very obvious that there was something not to be trusted about this kid. He was told to return to the office to turn in his equipment. Micheal never showed up that day, however, he left his equipment in the parking lot of the office to be found the following morning. He never did turn in the cash from the work he completed. I'm pretty sure the formal term for that would be theft!! And he wonders why it was deducted from his check??? The company does not give 'loans" to employee's, especially extremely deceptive, unreliable ones. Oh, and I almost forgot, it was later revealed that Micheal had lied on his application and was a convicted criminal. Really though based on the experience I had with this guy, it's not surprising. I just wanted to put it out there that this man is a lying, cheating, stealing, not-to-be-trusted individual. He has a lot of gull writing a false report of this nature. 1 Nation Restoration is a great company. They were a pleasure to work for, and they have thousands of satisfied customers throughout the state. They have been recognized for customer service excellance in the industry. They provide top of the line services, and take pride in their work. I know they try to make all their customer's happy, I guess some people are just never satisfied. So for anyon who is reading Micheal's report just consider the source. Don't let a few bad seeds ruin the bunch.
