I called this company a week before mothers day, with 2 orders. One in Vancouver the other in Victoria. The one in Victoria arrived but the one in Vancouver never did. No attempt was made to contact the Vancouver person for a delivery. For 4 days I called the 3 phone numbers on their website. No answer or busy signal each day, all day long. Emails were sent and they bouced back undeliverable. After doing a search ongoogle for "flower444 complain" I found a complaint on this website for the exact same company. I then called my credit card company and found flowers had posted 2 charges, one for the Victoria order the other for the Vancouver. This made it easeir for me to dispute the order. I explained to my credit company the problem and filed a dispute , they are cancelling the one charge that was not delivered.

Get a refund!

#7Consumer Suggestion

Tue, June 13, 2006

I was also a victim of this company. The floral arrangement I ordered for Mother's Day was NEVER delivered. Like everyone else, I attempted to contact the company with no success, so I contact the State of Washington Attorney General's Office for resolution. On 5/23, I filed my complaint online. On 5/26, Affordable Flowers CALLED ME to apologize for the non-delivery on my order. They stated I would receive a full refund issued back in the form of a credit to my credit card. On 5/30, I received a refund on my credit card from Affordable Flowers for the full order amount. On 6/5, The State Attorney General's Office forwarded a letter to me. The letter, from Affordable Flowers, confirming their telephone conversation with the Attorney Generals Office that morning indicated a refund had been processed (as a result of my complaint) by crediting the credit card used for the original purchase.

I too had the same mothers day issue, I ordered two arrangments. One showed up 5 days late and one never. I did my research and if you would like Jeet Mandair's cell phone number it is (604) 644-2222. He never called me back I left a few messages but give it a shot. I eventually disputed the charges on my credit card and have my money back. Take Care, Laura CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.

Ironic placement of Google ad

#9Consumer Suggestion

I subscribe to the Province, so I can get access to the article online at Canada.Com. Nice picture of your Mother. Of course, the site stuck an ad for flowers444.com at the bottom of the article. I wonder if any mechanism exists for complaining to Google about their clients, and maybe getting the ads pulled. That would make these scummy companies shape up better than an article in a local newspaper.

Flower delivery stinks

#10Author of original report

Fri, May 19, 2006

I contacted the newspaper in flowers444 area, The Vancouver Sun, by going to its website and sending an email to its news tips. I gave them the link to the BBB and to this web sites reports on this company. I received a phone call the very next day from a reporter. The article on this company is in the Vancouver Sun's business section titled Flower delivery stinks customers: Burnaby-based company faces complaints 1-800-66-ROSES doesn't smell so sweet for consumers who say the Burnaby-based flower delivery service charged them for flowers that never showed up. I don't have the rest of the article as I don't subscribe to this paper and I don't live in that area. I will have to wait for a copy that is being sent to me. It would be nice if other news groups pick up the article so everyone can read about this ripoff.
